I have worn this boot now for 2 years. It's a lightweight, durable product. I have hiked gravel roads and dirt trails around Bend and Mt.Hood through 4 seasons and even as a before and after ski snow boot for alpine and XC skiing to drive home in. Good tread design and surprisingly high warmth for a light boot. I haven't worn them out yet. I am a size 9 and 5 ft 8 inches tall. I hike, ski or fish at least 3-4 days a week.Pros: durable, warm, Cons: higher end investment

The first thing that caught my eyes is the design. Looks technical. The colors, gore tex. This pair of shoes has everything going for it. Comfort wise, Merrell was batter, but not by much. But, this is definitely a much better looking pair of shores.
Amazed with these boots

I have always worn stiff hiking boots with leather uppers or full Montrail'esq boots. I was very skeptical, but the reviews were great- by everyone. So, I bought these expecting to get a lighter weight boot good for 2-3 days on the trail with a 20 lb pack. I thought that I would trade off support for weight. Boy was I wrong. these have great support and fit like a glove out of the box. No break-in time whatsoever. I just hike 4 days with 35 lbs and these were never an issue. All of the reviews were well deserved. I highly recommend them.Pros: light weight, fit very well out of the box, stiffer than expected
