Brown PortablePet LunchBox perfect for 100+lbs dog
December 17, 2011
This is my second PortablePet LunchBox and I have been happy with the first purchase that I bought over three years ago. The lid will take both hands to open it from the base unit where you actually store the dry food because it sorta snaps onto the lower unit in four underside clips but that is a good feature since it keeps the dog from opening it by accident or for my dogs...intentually. I usually just stand over the unit and hold it between my feet to secure it before poping open the top portion to get the food. The attached carry handle appears sturdy and really helps when your hands are full of other packages. The unit fits well behind the drivers seat in my Ford Mustang and the bowls holds water without spilling even while driving. Just no sudden stops. My Rottweiler is 120lb male and he appears to eat easier now with the raised bowls than how I used to fed him with traditional floor bowls when we traveled. He graduated from the smaller blue LunchBox bowl which my 70lb female Boxer now uses. There is just a slight difference in height between the brown set and the blue set. Because of the height of the brown unit I would not recommend it for small dogs but anything over 40lbs would benefit from the raised bowls.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, helps my rottie eat easier than traditional bowls, great for camping or weekend tripsLightweight and perfect size for weekend trip
