ALO Workout Short - Women's

These shorts look good on and have great quality and performance potential. However, they run small so maybe order a size up. I ended up returning mine because of the small size.

Shorts are true to size. This is the first pair of workout shorts that stay in place. They don't ride up the legs and they don't scoot down the backside. Never have to worry about my clothing during a workout wearing these. Just wish they came in other colors.

In my opinion, the waist on these was too high. I don't like lowrider kind of shorts, but these were just too high. I followed the size chart as provided on the Alo website, and the shorts were too tight on the waist. I did however think they were a nice quality, and I liked that they had a small pocket inside for a card or a small phone (it doesn't zip though, so I suppose things could fall out).

So Comfortable!

These workout shorts are incredibly comfortable. The waist and leg openings are taut but not tight. The fabric is soft, not abrasive, the look is lean and sleek. I am 5'9", weigh 138 lbs and I ordered a M. I use the treadmill 6x a week so the shorts are used every day. Since I just received them they have had only two washes and the color and stretch have remained true. I will definitely buy more of these shorts.

I ordered this workout short because I have a pair I purchased at a local shop. They stopped carrying the short and I really wanted another. I LOVE Alo products and I highly recommend Alo. Unfortunately, this short had a much different fit - it fit much lower on the waist and the medium - the same size I already own - was much smaller. I had to return this short.

I have a hard time finding workout shorts that fit just right as I am 5' 2" and the inseams can be tricky, but these were perfect - not too short, not too long. I've worn them a few times during some intense workout sessions, and they are comfortable, don't ride up, aren't super shiny and the waist is perfect. I will be ordering a couple more of these....

Pros: These shorts are comfy, and didnt move around while I worked out. I like the length of the shorts, and that they are made from. There is a little pocket on the inside waist, which is cool. Cons: I dont know how durable they are yet, because I just bought them and have worn them once. But I am a bit weary about the seems, the tag is already ripping off. I was a little disappointed about how small the gusseted crotch is, its just a tiny diamond where the seems would have otherwise come together. Other: Im about a size 8 pant, and had to buy a large. I feel like I got them at a pretty decent price, so even if they only last me a year or so, I wont be too sad.
