Great jacket
January 04, 2012
I'm writing this review after a weekend of snowboarding here in the Pacific Northwest. This jacket sheds water and is warm to boot!!! I was on the lift repeatedly doing runs and any droplets of rain while i sat on the lift just rolled right off also I was only wearing a under armour long sleeve with a T shirt and I was warm all day. Hand pockets are fleece lined so when I need to stash my hands they stay nice and warm. The build quality on this coat is very stylish and I got a lot of compliments from the ladies on it's appearance. It has a thing that buttons up so that snow stays out but it slides out from time to time. Oh yeah it also has zippers to let off excess heat and moisture. All in all I'ts a great jacket!!!!!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, very warm, waterproofit's a nice jacket...

I would recommend this jacket over a long sleeve shirt for any fall type weather, but in the winter, I would probably suggest a fleece layer in between. It's a nice jacket, stylish, durable, but no built-in insulation. It runs big. I ordered an XL mostly because I prefer a longer length (I'm 6'2), but they designed the jacket to be narrower and longer, so probably a large would have been perfect. I like this jacket, I haven't tried it out in any real weather yet (my first winter in Syracuse is approaching), but there is definitely space to insulate with under armour, a flannel, and a sweater, and not feel like the little brother on A Christmas Story (when he couldn't put his arms down because he was so bulked up).
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value
