Both sides are treated with a DWR finish, and 80 g of polyester insulation makes the Variant Jacket more than just your typical flannel shirt.

Good jacket but, made for tall person and snow

I'm 5'7 and i got a medium. The all around fit is perfect, but the length of the coat is just too long basically covers butt and i'm used to jackets to end just below the belt buckle. It could be because it is also for snowboarding and it protects your butt from getting wet.
