Very warm beanie
This keeps your noggin' very warm. The fleece liner on the inside is a great feature. You are not going to find a better quality beanie but they aren't giving these away.

One of my best collection
This beanie is a really good product according to the reviews. That is why I bought it. It fits a little tight in the beginning but I don't feel discomfort after couple minutes. It really keeps my head warm when I go out. The big logo looks cool. Overall, it is a bestbuy.

Great quality
I purchased this beanie in an attempt to find an all weather cap that would keep me plenty warm whens its cold but breath well when its a bit warmer. This is it! Instead of having 3 or 4 different caps to use depending on the weather, this is working well all around. Great product from a great company.

Outstanding!
The Arc'teryx Bird Head hat is the best winter hat I've ever owned. The fit is perfect - completely covers the ears, isn't so tight that it causes itching, but snug enough to stay in place. On those really windy days it does an excellent job of blocking the wind, and yet on the calmer days it breathes enough to keep my head nice and dry.
This hat is the perfect combination of fit, function and style. You won't be disappointed with it.

beanie Bin
I ordered two of these because I needed the dark one to go with my down black jacket and the purple to go with my pink down jacket. I absolutely love this hat. It is difficult to keep hats on my head that cover my ears. This hat fit my head, didn't slip, kept it warm, and matched my jackets. I won't need to wash them until the end of winter but if I turn them inside out and wash on gentle I know they will wash well. I am not worried that they won't last as the knit is tight and doubt that the material will pill. Buy these before they are gone.

I love this Toque Beanie, the big logo of Arc'teryx on it looks so cool and stylish, I have an old version one, it could provide warm in the winter, and it's light ,comfy and suitable for some winter outdoor activities.

Warm and Stylish
I purchased this beanie because it was on sale. I did not realize how useful it turn out when I went up Mt Whitney in June 2011. The trails above 10,000 feet were covered in heavy snow and by the time I reached the 12,000 feet camp site the weather had turned nasty with 50+ miles wind gusts, dropping temperature, and snow storm. I put my Arcteryx beanie on my head to prevent loss of body heat. Needless to say it was warm and comfortable to wear thanks to a soft fleece inner headliner. The beanie is knitted, so it breathed enough to let moisture from head away from the body. Finally, it looked good on my head with a nice Arcteryx logo. Get this beanie on a sale.

Great Bird
After reading all the killer reviews about this beanie I was convinced that I had to get one to go along with my collection. I'm totally stoked with this purchase. The logo looks really sweet, oh and by the way it does keep your head warm.

my 6th bird beanie
It is my 6th Arc'teryx beanie. not too tight on me. The only problem is too many colors to make decision. Finally I picked my favorite orange.
It kept my head and ears warm around 32F in Tibet.

very cool hat
This is a very stylish and cool hat. The big logo is in your face and I like it. It fits me pretty tight and the inner fleece covers my ears well. Warm and comfortable.
As a fan arc'teryx, this beanie really stands out. I am also checking out this year's Word head beanie. Can't wait to get my hands on them.

It has an inner fleece layer that feels good on my ears. A little snug but a little stretching and it fit my head just right. Went with black and Arc'teryx written out in red looked sweet. Get it!

A must-have if you are a bird guy
Like my title says, this is a must-have item if you are an Arc'teryx guy. Very nicely made and feel comfortable wearing it. It is not windproof but still keeps your head warm thanks to its wool blend fabric. The bottom line is your Arc'teryx collection won't complete without this one.

Best beanie
Have tons of beanies and this is definitely the best looking one. Just make sure that you wash it in cold water and air dry it. Made the mistake of washing it in hot water and drying it in dryer and it shrunk on me so had to order more.

Great Value
Overall extremely happy with this hat. Was a little tight at first but seemed to break in quickly and now I forget I am even wearing it. I have a shaved head and love the feel of this hat.

Exactly what I was looking for
My boyfriend wanted a hat for Christmas by Arcteryx. Its now March and he wears it every day. Living in New England, you need a warm hat to keep you warm. It appears to have held up fine and give him everything he wanted in a winter hat. I got him the black one. The design and colors are cool and go well together. Worth the purchase.

This hat is great. Doesn't overheat while offering great warmth. Thinner than the billi brim hat and allows for venting.
The fleece band around the inside makes it super comfortable.

Excellent Beanie
This is an excellent beanie. It looks good and does an excellent job during athletic/aerobic activities. I ran with this beanie in 26 F degree weather this morning, with little wind, and it kept my shaved head warm. It has a very comfortable acrylic lining/band around your head. The wool and acrylic combo fit well and was just thin enough to allow breathability that I didn't have to take it off halfway through my run (which I usually do with my other beanie; due to overheating). I highly recommend this item.

Nice Beanie
The hat fits well and the fleece liner is pretty comfortable.
It's great for keeping you warm in the woods, but not too wind resistant. I felt the hat was a little too long to wear it as a skull cap, but for people who like to pull their beanies all the way down to cover their ears and back of the neck, this one is for you.

Great all around winter beanie
I bought this beanie for all around use for the winter months in Maryland. I have had beanies before but after about a hour start to itch! This does not!!! Keeps ur head warm very, snug fit as well.Great buy, top grade best one I have. Also doesn't mess ur hair up.

A quality cap but the seams are unraveling in the back. Not the most durable beanie, but it's better than most. Looks good, feels good. Deserves four stars. I give it three because the stitching needs improvement.

Warm and sharp lookong too!
This is a good looking cap and it is also very warm. It is wool for warmth but it has a fleece liner so it is not itchy. It is early but it seems like it will be very durable.

Great Beanie
I love this beanie. I have worn it here in Alaska for the last 2 weeks. Temperatures have ranged from -2 to 25 and my ears and bald head have stayed very comfortable. I haven't found it to be constricting, even while wearing glasses.

Great hat
Outstanding hat! Lightweight but very warm. Soft fleece band around on the inside around where your ears will be. Breathable but extremely warm. Only downside potentially is that it's a little tight for my head after wearing it for a few hours. Otherwise perfect!

This is the 2nd bird hat I have owned. Excellent quality and durability. I have a small head and it is tough to find a hat that fits well - this one is great! The hat is warm and looks great. The bird logo always brings a few stares and questions. A not to be missed product.

insulates my large cranium
A 23.5 inch head is by most measures, "pretty fricking large." I like to think that it correlates well with mental aptitude. Anyway, back to the subject at hand, this beanie fits my large noggin and keeps it warm with enough coverage to shield all of my ears as well. Sure, it's a bit snug but I bet it will stretch out a bit over time. The inner fleece makes this hat stand out and worth the money. Good brand, good price, good fit. Enough said.

Arcteryx Beanie Bird Torque
This hat is for someone who always needs "ARC". But the quality is about the same quality as other hats. But the Symbol makes difference. The one size does not fit me becasue my hat is really BIG. But recommended for other persons.

Okay- I'll admit it...
I bought this because I love the large bird design. I'm really not a brand snob- but I love Arc'teryx products and don't mind splashing this particular logo on my head. (Would I if instead it were North Face? No way.) It was a little more than I'd like to pay for a light weight, 50% wool beanie- but it's well made and I'm pleased.

Great beanie!
I have one of this beanie in my car for cooler days walks. I got some much complements on it that I wore it more walking to and from the car for errands. It is comfortably warm.
However, not warm or long enough for skiing, atleast for me!

Very warm and covers ears
This hat is extremely warm! It covers the whole head including the ears. The only downside to the hat is it is very deep. When I put it on and pull all the slack out of it the hat just about covers my eyes...and I do not have a small head. One thing is for sure, people with big heads that need a good fitting hat need look no further!

Why the black one is openned?
I bought two Beanies- Gold one and black one. The website is easy to use and beanie is great. But the shipping is little bit slow. It took almost 8 days. Also my black one's bag is not sealed but taped and without the Label attach to it. Wonder if it is a used one.

Great Gear but terrible shipping
I bought this as a gift for my brother in law and he absolutely loves it! Now as for the shipping, I was guaranteed 2 day fed-ex before Christmas (ordered on the 19th) and I didn't receive it until the 28th!! :( But I understand because Christmas is a crazy busy time of the year!!

Great hat! I bought the black one and was very excited, and it's even better than I expected. Looks and fits great, the fleece inside around your ears is super warm, and super soft, while the top lets your head breathe so you don't sweat! I have not taken mine off except to go to sleep!

Great design, cool hat
I love this arc'teryx beanie. Unlike some other hats, the embroidered elements do not make you itch on the inner side--they're covered by the fleece liner. Nice.

no argument with the beanie; just not worth the price
I don't seem to be as thrilled with this beanie as others. There is nothing wrong with it; it simply isn't worth the price. I may change my mind if it turns out to be unbelievably warm for its weight but the weather isn't cold enough yet to know that. Somehow I don't think it will meet my expectations as January comes around. Also, I bought Tarragon/Orchid thinking it was black (Blackbird not an option when I ordered). It turned out to be an olive drab which was a little disappointing. If you really want black, be sure to hold out for Blackbird.

The Best Beanie in my Huge Collection!
I bought the blackbird color and the look is unreal. I was a little worried about size because some reviews mentioned a snug fit and I typically wear an XL hat. However, while it was a little snug at first, it gave a little over time and now it is just perfect! Love Arc'teryx and Altrec for superior service.

One Beanie To Rule Them All!
When I first got my Arc'teryx Bird Head Toque Beanie, I thought Gees! I just got conned by all the reviews since it is not exactly cheap! You see it is not only lightweight it is unusually thin. However when I put it on, it practically glided on my head. The soft feel of the merino wool combined with the soft thermal fleece underbanding makes it uniquely comfortable to wear. And the best surprise of it all, is that it actually kept my head warm. So YES I highly recommend this 'ONE Beanie'

i love it. tends to slightly nudge up passed ears, and sometimes needs to be pulled down on my head, yet has not fallen off thus far. fleece band keeps ears warm, and beanie is light or thin enough to not be oppressive during midday sun.

Great Hat
Are all hats created equal? NO! This is a great hat because it meets both my needs for a hat. A. It keeps my head warm. B. It doesnt itch. I shave my head and spend tons of time outside so I need a hat that not only keeps my head warm but doesnt drive me crazy by itching after a period of time. This hat is great.

Second to None!
This hat is by far the best hat I've ever owned. It's fashionable, off the beaten trail, and most importantly so warm. The fabric that it is made of dries fast, and the fleece lined on the inside adds a feel good touch that is both toasty and snug. In fact, the 'snugness' of the hat is my favorite feature. It fits perfectly around the whole ear, without riding up on your head. I've already washed the hat twice, and it has mantained it's texture, shape, appearance, and feel-good feel. You won't regret your purchase!
