This is the best fitting beanie I have ever owned... when I first put it on I was simply amazed... sounds strange to get such pleasure out of a beanie. for me, no itchy problems, and the fleece head band lining is great... After a season of use, I did notice some pilling of the face fabric from all the google on/offs... but still showing lots of use ahead! Get one!

Very Pleased
I wore the Classic Beanie while skiing in 20-29 degree temps. The beanie was comfortable and kept me warm. I think that it would be just as warm at lower temps. I like the inner liner band, I think it's fleece. The beanie is also well constructed so it should wear well.

very normal beanie
I purchased this beanie because i like this brand. This one is not very stylish, seems a little normal. If there is not a logo on front of it, perhaps someone will not buy it. the wool in this beanie make it warm.

Beware of size
This Arc teryx product, like most others, is of excellent quality. I however had to return. I am only 5'6, 125 lbs., and the fit was so small I had to return it. Very uncomfortable in that respect. I know it is suppose to be form fitting, but this truly was an extremely tight fit. Keep this in mind.

QUEST FOR WARMTH
Like all ARC'TERYX products 10 out of 10. This beanie provides great warmth and comfort when you need it. It looks great and is made to last. Dont hesitate just get one.

I love this beanie. It's very warm and the material it's made with is of the upmost quality. Love this hat and will recommend it to anyone, the only thing is it's a little over priced, but you pay for quality products.

great style, warm, bit tight
I ordered the black one on sale as usual at Altrec and it was love at first site! I have a 7-1/4 inch fitted hat head and this beanie is a little bit tight. I do have a shaved head so if I did have hair, it might not work at all.
The beanie is quite warm except where the lining ends(which is about the bottom 3-4 inches. I did not machine wash due to previous comments.
I would recommend to all you little noggin folks out there.

Best Beanie
This beanie is the best of all beanies. It is softer, warmer, and better looking than any other beanie Ive ever worn. The best hat purchase Ive ever made. It is rather pricy, but definitely worth the extra money. My first experience using this beanie was on a multi-day winter backpacking snowshoe trip up in the White Mountains. Perfect.

Beanie
This is a very warm beanie. It has fleece sweat band. It is not very wind resistant being knit wool. There is only one size. If you have a large or x-large size head it will be very tight.

Hand wash recommended
This beanie is exceptionally warm! Very comfortable. I have a shaved head, so almost every beanie slips off, but not this one... perhaps because of the thermal lining/band on the inside.
I couldn't interpret the symbols on the label so I placed it in the washer and dryer, and now as a result of that, it only fits the head of a newborn.
I learned from this experience, and will definitely buy one again. But this time I'll wash by hand and line dry.

beanie cut way to small. not up to par. i picked another one out. wouldn't go out without it. my friends love the hat because they have really small heads

Great Beanie
I typically don't wear hats - when it's really cold outside, I would just wear the behind-the-head ear warmers....leaving the rest of my head cold. I finally decided to purchase this Arcteryx Beanie on the positive reviews and have been wearing this whenever the temp goes below 30 degrees...which recently, was 4x week. The hat does NOT itch and it covers the forehead and ears easily. The mistake I made was I threw it in the wash and the hat shrunk. Although it still covers my forehead and ears, it is a tighter fit and I get some serious hat-head.
As much as it pains me to pay more, I'm going to buy another one.

Nice beanie
It's been cold on the east coast so this has been keeping me pretty warm. Little short so the bottom of my ears stick out....maybe I just have a bid head...I dunno. Anyway seems like a good buy. Will try it skiing in a few weeks.

Perfect Beanie!
I have worn this hat through Minnesota winters and not felt a thing! The size is perfect, not too tight, and fleece band around the forehead and ears keeps the itchies away! This really is the perfect beanie - worth every penny!!

Beanie for your noggin
Arc'Teryx products continue to be the best manufacture for the highest quality outdoors products. I needed a warm beanie for my bald head but have been disappointed with other thin hats. I knew the Arc'Teryx classic beanie would not disappoint, and it didn't. It only comes in one size, but that seems to be OK. Not too tight and not too loose. Thick and warm it will be able to keep my head toasty on the coldest days.

Feels warm
I am a petite asian lady with not so big head :) and it just feels right. But with someone with a little bigger head may feel too tight.
I like the simple but classic design and the logo in the front.

Nice Beanie (Just too tight of a fit for me)
I like the way this beanie looks and it keeps my head warm but the fit is too tight. I'm a bit worried that after a careful hand washing and rack drying this beanie will shrink some and then the fit will be impossibly tight.
I'm hoping it stretches after hand washing rather than shrinking because if it shrinks even the slightest bit It will be too tight to wear.
I have a head size right in-between small and medium so I usually don't have a problem with fit when it comes to one size fits all hats and beanies.
I'm just a tad bit disappointed about the tight fit. I like a snug fit when it comes to beanies but this beanie is a tad bit beyond snug.

Killer hat
Super fit, super warm, and looks killer. I love this hat and has become my most favorite winter hat. Keeps my head warm on the coldest days. Nothing beats the quality of icebreaker merino wool.

Warm, but a little snug as the liner restricts stretchiness.
I bought this beanie last winter, and didn't realize it at the time, but it has a liner that covers my ears. It is very warm, even in freezing N.W. weather, but the liner somewhat restricts the hat from being stretchy, and as a consequence it can feel very snug on my head. (I wear a size 7-1/4" baseball hat) Well made, good quality hat, I just sometimes wish it wasn't quite to tight, and would stretch down over my ears another 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

Not for me
I'll start out by saying the quality and style of that hat are very good,nice ear coverage, nice sleek look no pointy seams.Although I did have to return it based on the fact its extremely tight,and I have no hair, I shave my head.I have an average sized head ,and even though I can put it on it feels like its cutting off the circulation,If I raise my eyebrows and they don't come back down then that's a problem for me.The wool material seemed itchy and the restrictiveness of it only increased it.If you have hair as a buffer and a tiny head this hat may be for you.It may stretch out overtime but for 35$ I don't want to suffer till it gets comfortable.Think of the Chris Farley gag,fat man in a tiny coat,and you'll get a feel for what I'm saying.

Stylish and Warm
Originally purchased the blue, used it skiing for a week with temps in the low to mid teens; my head stayed warm as toast! Love it so much I purchased the brown one too. I use it for hiking on weekends also. I have a large head and it is large enough to cover my ears and forehead. Recommend!

Very nice hat!
Wasn't sure at first as this hat didn't "look as cool" as the two other Arc'teryx beanies I got, but now I love it. It is very comfortable to wear. These guys make great beanies period!

Warm, but nothing special
I've bought two of these hats because they look pretty sweet, but to be honest, they're overpriced as well. If you want to stay warm, there are plenty of hats that will suit your needs at a lower price point, but if money is no option, these lids are simple and slick.

only one issue
The only issue with this awesome hat (I love all things arc'teryx) is that the lining doesn't extend throughout the insided of the hat. My boyfriend is bald and it would just be alot more comfortable if there was lining against his skin rather than the wool. Other than that I love this hat-it looks great on him!

The Arc'teryx classic beanie toque is quality and well made, but its a little short, I don't have the biggest head, but I can't quite get it to cover my ears completely...but it is a warm hat especially with with fleece lining.

Truly a Classic
I love this toque! It fits great and keeps me warm skiing or when I'm camping out. The wool is soft, not itchy and I love the bird logo on it.

A Great Buy
I was very glad I purchased this before going skiing last month. The Arc-teryx beanie kept my head and ears toasty. An inner layer of fleece like material keeps moisture away, and prevents itchiness that you get with other wool hats. A Great buy.

Warm and Stylish
I love this beanie. It has style and will keep you warm. There is a ring of polyester in the interior of the hat to keep your ears even warmer. The Arcteryx logo on the front is very stylish and now this has become my head's best friend.

A little snug but worth it
Good beanie that keeps you warm in almost any weather. Windproof and rainproof really shows on recent ski trip. Only complaint is that it's a bit too snug, once making my ear numb (not from cold but from the loss of circulation). If you have a smaller head, get it.
