It was the highest glove that not was before. It is Arcteryx though does. There is no such glove before. The glove of the highest quality helped my climbing mountain. This glove is indispensable to all mountain climbers.

Excellent Product (if you have the ca$h)
December 08, 2011

The articulation of these gloves is superb. It feels like you could tie a shoelace, yet the gloves are also very warm. It is yet to be determined whether the gloves will stand up to the test of time, but so far so good. I've used them to snowboard at the local ski hill, walk the dogs, cross country ski, and also venture out into the backcountry. This is a great all around pair of gloves. As to sizing, I got a large, and I usually get a medium in other glove brands such as Marmot. I have a few other pairs of Arcteryx gloves, and get a large in all of them. Thus, I would say the gloves run smaller than those of comparable brands like Marmot. In sum, these gloves are awesome, and if you have the cash to buy them I would highly recommend doing so.

Solid Gloves
March 08, 2011

These gloves are excellent. I am about to take them out on a major climb but I question if they will be enough since they are much lighter than I anticipated. I will also bring my black diamond gloves, just in case. Having said that, the ability to grab items and flexibility of these gloves are second to none. I have purchased many Arc'Teryx products and have never been disappointed -- I suspect I will feel the same once I put these gloves to the test

Fits like a glove
October 26, 2010

Got these from my wife as an anniversary present and used them for the first time skiing the first pow in the PNW yesterday. First impressions are that the quality is absolutely top notch. Stitching, the novel way you can undo the wrist cinch, the supple leather... everything you expect from Arcteryx... and from such an expensive glove! I skied early season pow in the BC yesterday and my ski partner's gloves were soaked and he was complaining of cold hands by the 6th lap. My hands were warm and DRY! The inner glove matches the liner so precisely they are extremely dexterous. My buddies were making some jokes about the bright orange color in the pictures I sent them as they do look very orange. I think they should tone down the color but apart from that... the glove is waterproof and very comfortable.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Cons: Cost, bright orange color

My glove search is over...
February 28, 2011

I suffer from poor circulation in my extremities in sub-freezing weather. I've been an avid skier for 35+ years and during that time have literally tried dozens of different gloves and none of them kept my fingers from going numb on cold days.... I had pretty much resigned myself to either suffering through it or using those inconvenient hand warming packs... This past fall I read rave reviews of these gloves in several magazines and since I own Arc'teryx jacket & pants I thought I'd give them a shot. I tried them out over a week long trip to Crested Butte in mid-february and they performed wonderfully. I skiied in all kinds of conditions including back country deep powder on a snowy 5 degree day with 20 below wind chill. For the first time in my life my hands never got cold! And I did not have to resort to using liners or handwarmers to achieve it. Not only did my hands stay warm, but dry as well, even after some big falls in deep pow. The snow cuffs kept all the snow out and my hands stayed dry. Finally a pair of gloves that do what they're supposed to! Since I've only worn them for 1 week I can't really comment on the "durability" question but I've worn my Arc'teryx jacket and pants for years and they've held up to lots of abuse, so there's no reason to think these gloves will be any different. The only real drawback is the high cost, but they are 100% worth it to me. They are also difficult to find, due to apparent limited production runs from the manufacturer. Every local shop and web retailer I searched was out of stock or backordered. I signed up with Altrec to notified be when they might become available... They followed through with an email alert about a week later. I ordered them immediately and had them a few days later... Bottom line is these are the best gloves I've ever owned and thanks to the folks at Altrec for getting them to me when no-one else could.
