Description

Crafted with a trim, torso-hugging fit, the Arc'teryx Apache Cardigan for men is a multipurpose fleece top that's equally suited for urban and backcountry pursuits. While Arc'teryx refers to this piece as a cardigan, the Men's Apache Cardigan is hardly traditional and can be worn as a mild-weather jacket. It features a moisture-resistant Polartec® Thermal Pro® Tweed Knit that is flat on the exterior and fluffy all along the interior. Arc'teryx added laminated patches along the elbows to enhance garment longevity. Like other Arc'teryx outdoor clothing, the Men's Apache Cardigan has no-lift gussets beneath the sleeve so you can reach above your head without feeling exposed to the elements. This performance piece also features flatlocked seams to reduce chafing and roomy zippered hand pockets for extra gear. The Arc'teryx Men's Apache Cardigan is also remarkably resilient and compressible, so it packs well inside your climbing backpack and your airline carry-on luggage.

Apache Cardigan
February 16, 2011

This cardigan is every well made and a comfortable trim fit. It is a excellent mid layer in very cold weather and good on it's own in temps. ranging from the 30's -50's with the appropriate base layer depending on the wind. This item also looks great for urban wear and I really enjoy the laminated pockets and elbows. The color carbon copy is a blue gray which is more lighter than pictured.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Great value, breathable fabric, moisture resistant

Love it
January 09, 2011

I absolutely love Arc'terx products. I have an Alpha sv pro shell, Delta Lt. zip, and just ordered the bib, and sigma ar gloves. The medium fit is perfect for me around 6 ft. 165lbs. It is by far the best warming layer I have owned. I don't do any crazy expedition climbing, but im a former Marine and I appreciate good gear and quality. Very functional, very warm. I haven't had it long enough to test durability yet, but I have good expectations. Only drawback...price of course but like they say cheap stuff ain't good, and good stuff ain't cheap.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance
Cons: Cost
