Great Casual Comfortable Fleece

This is a very comfortable fitting well made casual fleece. It does have some nice backcountry features as well including the interior mesh pockets but I prefer tighter fitting insulating layers when in the backcountry. This has become my wear at my desk fleece when I am cold which it is perfect for.

Warm and comfortable

Soft and warm, perfect for home use. Of course one can take it out of the house as under protection. Cardigan style, with zipper in the front, make it very user friendly.

I am finding when it comes to treking cloths a little extra money goes a long way. Pricy product but worth the dollar as to fit, style, and workmanship. If I could afford it this would be the only company I would buy from. Excellent service. Product shipped and delivered on time.

This jacket is light, mobile and warm. In addition, The feel is nice and soft. I can use this jacket in winter, autumn and spring in a wide season. Because a design is cool, I can dress this jacket urban and outdoor.

Made the wrong choice; but...

My advice is to pay attention to the reviews and the product description. Altrec reviewers are typically spot on. Unfortunately, I made the wrong choice; but... if you are looking for a LIGHTWEIGHT fleece that is soft, comfortable and stylish, then this is for you. Also, I chose the Olympia Blue, and it is NOT a navy color. More like a royal blue; but, still very nice. Just not for me. Overall fit is true to size and a relaxed fit. Before we get too far... Altrec's Customer Service Team is fantastic! Helped me get an RMA without any hassles, and I will be replacing this fleece with the Arc'Teryx Covert Cardigan in Black to use as a mid-layer with my Arc'Teryx Alpha LT.

Nice Product-But Not For Me

I decided to purchase this product, because the company produces gear for the Marine Corps. In this case I had trouble finding out what sizes were tight, medium, or a large fit from Arc'teryx. If you order, I suggest that you go a step down. In my case it would have been to tight, vice loose. It is a nice looking product, and I know it would last, but the fit was poor and I went with another product.

This jacket is light weight and easy to pack. It fits really well, there is enough room to fit a fleece underneath and it is soft and warm. Repels water well.

Love Arcteryx...but this is not only a different fit, it's a different fabric than previous "Caliber Cardigan" model. It may be a great piece, but why not give it a new name? Or, find another way to clarify the change.
