Description

It's difficult to beat the versatility of a good fleece top, and the Arcteryx Men's Calibur Zip Neck is the perfect complement to any cool weather activity. This breathable and quick-drying fleece layer does a great job of moving moisture away from your skin, and Arcteryx builds in no-lift gusseted underarms, so the shirt stays put when you reach up or out. What sets this lightweight fleece shirt apart is its unique casual corduroy appearance. Arcteryx uses Polartec® Classic Micro Velour Cord Fleece to lend this fleece layer its great casual flair. Of course, you still get all of the performance you'd expect from a high quality Polartec® fleece, but now you can wear it to school and town without looking like you just stepped off the trail. The Arcteryx Caliber Zip Neck for men matches a casual fleece look with their trademark athletic fit to serve up a handsome, clean look.

Firstly, It has a high quality same with other Arc'teryx items. This brand never disappointed me. Secondly, it has many features: lightweight, breathable, tough and quick drying. It's very suitable for outdoor activities. I am satisfied with it.

Excellent Lightweight Top
November 04, 2010

This top from Arc'teryx was a great buy. Having other tops of the same brand, I figured it would be worth the gamble to purchase this without trying it on first. Seems like once you find your size with Arc'teryx, you can count on the size to remain the same. This top is lighter than a similar zip neck from Arc'teryx that I own, and that's what I wanted. It wears well paired with my Arc'teryx shell for later summer/fall here in Alaska. My other zip neck works for the winters here. My wife loves the orange zippers and how they standout, I'll admit that I like them too!

Wow!
November 26, 2012

I put the new Caliper on as soon as I got it... couldn't believe its warmth, comfort, look, and feel. I will use it as mid layer under a wind jacket on outings with capilene base layer if it is 40 degrees or less. for temps above 50 I will stick with cotton tees. It is athletic fit. I weigh 195lbs at 5'11" with a broad shoulder and the large fits perfectly. The sleeve is ample. I have had Arcteryx fleece that is a bit lighter than this new Caliper and have used it as my go to fleece for the past 6 years. Quality is something you learn about a garment as it serves year in and year out. The older fleece now has some real competition... you get what you pay for.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance

Be a little careful with the fit
July 02, 2010

This pullover is well made soft and comfy but be a little wary as it is quite an athletic fit. I normally wear a medium but need a large in this. Corduroy is a nice change from the usual fleece. recommended.

Lightweight and warm
January 27, 2011

Excellent lightweight fleece that is not only warm but stylish. Have received many comments on how nice it looks. A little pricey but worth it. I'd buy this if I was looking for a great every day lightweight pullover that dries fast, looks good and can be used for active wear as well.

Warmth like a wool knit
December 28, 2011

This is light and thin fleece, but is very warm. In addition, the wear material such as the corduroy is very comfortable. This is mountain brand's wear but, the looks of urban use is very nice.

Fits Small, but very comfortable
October 05, 2010

As with traditional Arc'teryx clothing, this fits a little smaller than most. I normally wear a med or large and large is tighter fitting than usual. After you get it fitted, prepare for a very comfortable sweater though. This seems as though it would be comfortable in about the 50-60F range for extended time periods, but might be able to go a little lower for short periods. Highly recommend this arc'teryx pullover.

Excellent product
October 18, 2010

Yet another great piece from Arcteryx- great for slipping on when the chill sets in out hiking, but looks great for casual use (goes great with a pair of jeans, and polo shirt underneath). I use this when the weather is mid 40s- too cold for a Delta LT, but not cold enough for a Covert. I'm usually take a Large, but sized up to XL.....this is probably a bit more of an athletic fit than the Delta LT.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever

I,...am,...Happy!
October 07, 2010

These shirt/jackets are very sylish and are very warm. I searched the internet for clothing that is well made. I hate the "junk" that I see even in designer clothing. Everything thing made in a third world country reflects the quality of the clothing. I ordered two shirts (Gold Medal & Deep Dusk). The fit was perfect,...no kiddin! I am 57 and people compliment me on the style and fit. The shirt/jacket looks like I paid $118 for them. There is no where in town to find clothes like this. Two young engineers that work with me asked me where I bought the shirts/jackets. I told them, "I have three shirts like this and that's all I need for the winter". Women love the zip neck and the lively colors.

Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use

Looks great!
March 05, 2011

The first thing you notice when you put this on is that it looks great! I'm 5'9" and 144, and the medium fits perfectly. Athletic look and fit, without being tight-not the oversized fit that most things are coming out in nowadays. Similar fit to other Arcteryx products that I've owned. It is very lightweight but fairly warm. The collar is high like the design of most pullover polarfleece but soft and not noticeable on your neck. I've mainly worn it indoors to keep the chill away so far, but should be great as a mid layer or as an outer layer in the spring.

Very Nice Pullover
January 08, 2012

Super nice pullover from Arcteryx. Their usual quality stands out in this piece. Not too heavy and not too light. Perfect for layering or as an alternative to a sweater. I can't comment on it's durability yet, but if it's anything like their Delta Jersey, this thing will last forever!

Looks Great, Good Every Day Fleece
December 26, 2010

This fleece is excellent for outdoors or around the office. It is warm and breathable, haven't had any problems indoor or out. Seems to fit a little small - I am comfortable in a medium --> 5'8", 150lbs. I have only had it for a couple months but it has held up well through multiple wears and washes.

Another great Arc'teryx product
May 27, 2011

This top does not disappoint. Light weight, breathable, and with just the right warmth to keep the chill off during brisk fall/spring morning hikes or layered on the ski slope. Looks great just out of the suitcase, at the end of the day, and after months of wear. Highly recommended.

It's Arc'Teryx - Great Product
September 14, 2011

Comfortable with a great fit. Just got it so I don't know how well the corduroy will hold up. I like that it's extra long for warmth but not really digging the super long sleeves (too long). I can't figure out how that helps. Color is great. A funky blend of brown and green that shifts in different kinds of light. Overall great pullover.

Great pullover!!
November 10, 2011

I love this lightweight fleece. Performs great in the winter with a base layer underneath, looks great around town. and I use it for mountaineering / alpine climbing as my base layer or at times with a base layer underneath. Very versatile. It's so comfortable that I find myself wearing it around town at times. Great breathability. It's a must have layer for the outdoors. It packs down very nicely so I carry it in my pack on simple hikes or rock climbing as well.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value
