Whether used as a mid-weight insulating layer on a winter camping trip or for a snappy casual look in town, the classically tailored Arcteryx Covert Cardigan for Men works no matter what the activity. Although it has the sophisticated appearance of cashmere wool, the Polartec® Thermal Pro® sweater knit provides top-notch moisture management for aggressive aerobic activity. The Arcteryx Covert Cardigan offers a simple, functional design, featuring a full front zip and two hand pockets with laminated zips. Climbers and skiers will appreciate the gusseted underarms for full range of motion and everyone will find use for the laminated sleeve pocket with laminated zip.

I owned a med. and it was my favorite, felt like a sweater and I lived in it. Now I have the Large, it fits and feels like a jacket.

I have to say this is an outstanding fleece jacket. Somewhere between a sweater and a fleece in feel, it is cut athletically without being tight or restricting movement, feels great over a t-shirt or over thermals (I really like the Icebreaker bodyfit merinos). I also own the Zip neck version of this fleece, and wanted one with a full zipper for those times that you are going to have to be adjusting for warmth/cooling without having to take it off. Mine is dark slate and it looks very nice, I can easily wear this in the office. It is casual but still looks very good. I am very pleased with it. Wear it underneath a hard shell, and you are ready for serious outdoor weather. It is a bit expensive but worth the money.

This fleece is amazing. The wool-like texture looks very dressy, but still keeps its athletic look. I've read some reviews stating it runs small, but I think it runs true to size. Fits perfectly under a shell. The fabric has great stretch to it, to wear while boarding/skiing. It moves with you. Very warm.

Great cardigan that looks like a sweater (with a zipper front), but keeps you warm like a light-weight jacket. Can be worn over a shirt, and also as a mid-layer, under a heavier jacket.

arc'teryx has always served me well and this is no exception. The garment is functional and doesn't pill after being washed. Definitely recommend for day and light hikers.
