Although it's not windproof, the Covert Crew is quite warm, and makes for a great insulating layer when combined with a waterproof, breathable hardshell. The flat exterior face looks like wool, while the interior is soft and fuzzy. A laminated sleeve pocket provides storage not usually found on those department store sweaters.
