Description

Designed to stoke your skiing and snowboarding passion, the Men's Crossbow Jacket from Arc'teryx takes on the blast of winter in a supple GORE-TEX® Soft Shell 3L construction. Quieter, warmer than a hard-shell and lightly insulated with a high-loft inner face at the shoulders and core, this Arc'teryx jacket moderates the body heat challenges of stop-and-go lift access skiing. Featuring a relaxed fit, articulated shaping, and no-lift gusseted underarms, this soft-shell jacket provides exceptional mobility while one or two planking the side-country. Thigh length with an adjustable elastic waist drawcord and powder skirt with gripper elastic and snap closure, the Crossbow seals up tight against the occasional back-draft. With a helmet compatible Storm Hood, this winter jacket's laminated components, taped seams, and WaterTight external zippers keep the cold and moisture at bay, and your core furnace blazing. Rider centric, this Arc'teryx Jacket offers a hidden Recco reflector, lift pass loop, internal mesh pocket for goggles, and large cuffs that adjust to fit over or under gloves. Aspire, and with the Crossbow Jacket you shall overcome.

Arc'teryx Crossbow Jacket is a MUST Buy!
February 15, 2012

I bought this jacket for my father-in-law who was taking a vacation to Antarctica and he loved it! We bought an inner fleece to go with this shell and he stayed nice and warm. The best part was that he could later use just the shell when he was in warm Argentina. This jacket is durable and absolutely waterproof. We bought the jacket in Amber Ale and the color is great! Stylish and easy to spot while skiing.

Great jacket. I was looking for something just a little warmer than a typical shell jacket and with the light fleece insulation i got exactly what i was looking for. The fit is perfect which allows me a little room for the under garmets. The hood works well too. This is a jacket that not only you can use for winter sports, but for rainy days at home or an evening ball game.

Nice Jacket
December 21, 2011

I purchased this jacket as a gift for my boyfriend. Love the design/color contrast. It was a little big on him and unfortunately I had to return it (bought a L and he usually wears a L). I think the jacket may be meant to wear a thicker jacket underneath. Overall cool jacket though. Love this brand.

Favorite waterproof softshell, ever!
December 16, 2011

This is an awesome jacket. I own several Arcteryx jackets and this one might be my favorite. First off the colors this year are incredible. I got the Amber Ale and it look even better in real life that on the computer. I love the feel of Arcteryx's waterproof softshell. They aren't crinkly, and feel like a softer version of the hardshells(thus the name softshell.) Jacket is fairly roomy to accommodate layering, I can even fit an 850 down jacket underneath. Features on the jacket are very similar to the Arcteryx Sabre jacket except at the shoulder, arms, and back they used a thicker fabric for more durability. Quality is the best in the world, I look forward to having it for years.

Excellent
November 25, 2011

This jacket is newly designed for 2011. I really like GORE-TEX SOFT SHELL. Because it is soft and comfortable to wear. Like the stingray jacket, this jacket is also very popular. If you like skiing and snowboarding, you should get it to the Ski resort. Then enjoy it!
