Comfortable around the house
March 08, 2004
I've worn it skiing, around the house, and daily while cycling to work. It fits a variety of needs. Its comfort level is high. A good purchase.
Excellent Mid or Base Layer
March 10, 2004
This is listed by Arc'teryx as mid but can also be used as a base-layer. It is made of Polartec Thermopro High Void Grid, which means that it is a specialized fleece with outstanding insulating and moisture-management properties. What you have here is a technical layer offering not only exceptional aesthetic appeal in the fabric's wonderful color, softness and texture, that calls out to be worn next to the skin, but also impressive functionality in its lightness, high warmth-for-weight ratio, ergonomic design/fit and quality of finish. Like all fleece it insulates, unlike cotton, even when it is wet with perspiration or rain and this means that you feel less uncomfortably clammy exercising in cool temps. Because it is thin it allows cool air to penetrate to the skin to assist in perspiratory evaporation. Wearing it with an outer full-zip soft shell made of schoeller dynamic for example, as in the Arc'teryx Gamma LT, which is extremely breathable yet wind and water resistant further facilitates the evaporative process for which the Delta LT is so well suited. I believe this garment compares very favorably with and even surpasses the best the market has to offer in this genre..
Perfect mid layer
March 19, 2004
I bought one of these and it performed great, but what made me buy 2 more was the fact that it came out of the washing machine practically dry. This thing wicks like it has a built in fan. Superior to any other fleece I have owned.
awesome
March 30, 2004
I have really gotten into these zip neck technical garments. They are super comfortable, and the zipper allows for great heat control. Arcterx stuff is very well made. Buy it. You won't be sorry.

Excellent
April 06, 2004
I purchased this as a middle layer for outdoor activities and it does a terrific job for that purpose. It's very light and transfers moisture well, and it also has excellent freedom of movements. This pullover also works great as a base layer since the Polartec fleece feels very comfortable on the skin. The fit and styling are great too. This is yet another very high quality product Arc'Teryx produces.
Warm and Comfy
April 07, 2004
This is a great piece. Warm. Comfortable. Very light. Tremendous warmth to weight. Quick to dry and to wick. I've already bought a second.
very nice-expensive

good base layer and find myself reaching for this peice towear in warm weather around town.price is abit extreme, but you will like wearing this pieceof high void polartec.
good quality base layer
August 28, 2004
Good quality base layer.
Best light weight layering shirt available
September 17, 2004
This is a great layering shirt with lots of room. It is not cut as small as Arc'teryx jackets...
Best mid layer ever.
November 29, 2004
Great fit, very discrt no big name tag on front. You dont want to take it of when you have taken it on.
Serenity
November 01, 2009
This piece from Arcteryx makes you feel like you're at a time in your life when you are making good decisions. Also, that you care about your G.D.H or Gross Domestic Happiness. It is a good choice for around town and the office. If I'm going casual you can bet it won't be J.Crew.

Waiting for my color.
November 05, 2009
This shirt is thin, soft, and very comfortable. Normally I wear a size M for Arc'teryx, while the small size of this shirt fits very well except for a little longer sleeves. It is a very good choice for early Spring or later Autumn, and of course a good choice for Winter if there is not very cold. I'm now still looking for a small one for color Abyss Blue or Copper...
Great piece
November 11, 2009
This Arc'teryx piece goes with you when you are hanging out with friends or under your Beta AR when you are straightlining a 45 degree shoot at Highlands. It's says, " Sure, I do compete in long distance triathlons in the offseason but I can watch a football game and eat wings with the best of em."
Even better with a lengthened front zipper
November 23, 2009
Last year I acquired this pullover because of its light weight and relative thinness. It is light but warm as well! So much so, that I hardly had to use another, heavier one during the whole winter. I had wondered, though, why the zipper was not longer which was then corrected this year.
Arc'teryx always high quality
December 29, 2009
This 1/2zip is very soft and much warmer than expected for its light weight. I always get a quality garment when ordering Arc'teryx. Do expect an athletic cut, so expect to go up a size if need be.
A Staple of Winter Wardrobe
December 30, 2009
Bought this shirt to wear as insulating layer under my shell, but it is so soft and durable that it has quickly become a regular for everyday wear as well. The quality is unsurpassed and it keeps warmth remarkably well for feeling so light. Just what you would expect from Arc'teryx

Great ski shirt
January 07, 2010
This was exactly what i wanted - high quality and great feeling fabric. Sizing was right on.
Sweet for cold weather endurance
January 10, 2010
Very nice mid-layer...wouldn't recommend as a base. Maybe difficult to find a perfect fit. I'm a small in the sizing chart but fit into a medium with a layer or two underneath. The medium is therefore longer in the arms than needed and must be folded several times to fit. Also long in length but manageable. Apart from that it's a nice light weight that's highly breathable and keeps you warm. Polartec is the finest polyester on the market...superior to Capilene. Seams are nicely positioned, of high quality and promote classic Arcteryx mobility.

Great shirt - very happy with the quality fabric and sizing.
Thin, soft, and great for layering
January 18, 2010
This top is thin, but not at all in a bad way. It doesn't have much bulk, but provides surprising warmth when layered. It breathes very well, and can be worn as a baselayer (or can easily be worn over a thin baselayer). It fits true-to-size, being neither too night nor baggy. It is on the long side, which I tend to like in my layering pieces. In general, I tend to run warm, and for this reason overheat when wearing any sort of fleece while inside. However, the Delta LT is thin enough (and breathes well enough) that I can wear it inside. However, if I throw a softshell over it and go outside, it provides as much warmth as my midweight (and much thicker) fleece pullovers. Oh yeah... and it is one of the softest pieces of clothing I own.

Great Fit
January 22, 2010
Washes well, extremely comfortable. i have about 12 baselayer shirts and this is my favorite.
Light Weight/Great Fit
February 06, 2010
The perfect fit, light weight good for spring and summer over a t-shirt or Polo shirt. Form fitting but not too tight. Wear under a rain shell for warmth.
Softer than the old shirts
March 02, 2010
This is my favorite shirt in the winter, lounging around the house. I have the older version and just received the new version. The difference is the new version is softer and also has a soft lining inside. The zipper is also longer. Also a great shirt to put under a soft shell for that added warmth. So many uses and light weight. My favorite all purpose shirt just got better.
warm and lightweight one
March 11, 2010
At first, this Arc'teryx one is a lightweight top, it 's suitable for hiking or running in spring, Secondly, its warmth is not bad.
Light, warm, soft as chashmere
March 12, 2010
I've had similar version of this shirt for Patagonia and the difference is amazing: not only is the look and fit superior (right sleeve and body lengths) but the feel is incredibly soft and the warmth is perfect as a sweater or a base layer. I've bought three of these Delta LT zips this year.
Fine Piece
April 18, 2010
Great for wearing over a t-shirt when a fleece is just too much. Plenty of length in the arms, and a nice long zipper making an easy task out of putting it on and taking it off.
incredibly light and warm
June 17, 2010
Im not sure just how they do it- this is super light weight, it breathes really well and yet its warm. One of my favorite Arc'teryx pieces.
Warm & Comfortable
October 03, 2010
Warm and very soft/comfortable. Perfect for temps in the 50's and as base layer when it is colder. Excellent quality. Highly recommend!!
Nice Lightweight Midlayer
October 13, 2010
Very nice layer or stand alone for a mild day. I wear one of the 2 I own almost daily. The one I recently purchased fits smaller in the shoulders and is not as comfortable as the 3 year old version but still a great fleece. I now perfer the full zip version that came out last year - fits a little better.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, PerformanceOctober 13, 2010
Great Quality shirt. Soft and warm. Breaths well. Athletic fit. Only negative is cost.

Soft, warm good-looking performance shirt
October 18, 2010
Recommend the shirt because of its comfort (softer yet more durable than cashmere), good looks (it's form fitting on an athletic frame) and its performance (good warmth with little weight- easily packable, wicks well and is washable). Have a medium black that fits true, though sleeves are about an inch long for me (I'm 5'9", 155, with 33 inch sleeve length). The one negative besides price is that the shirt is a bit difficult to put on over a long sleeve t-shirt. Perfect to have in a pack for a hike that gains elevation and loses temperature. Would give it a 5 overall rating if not for high price.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performancedelta zip
November 03, 2010
This is a fantastic base layer! The delta zip is thin, light weight, yet very durable. The jacket grants total mobility while being very stylish. I find this to be a much better alternative to the popular Patagonia R series base layer.

Worth the Cost
November 12, 2010
Bought this in dark gray for my husband last year and will be buying him another this year! I was concerned about the price, but after a year as his favorite shirt and being worn and washed weekly, it is still comfortable and in excellent shape. He has worn it for outdoor activities like hiking & skiing, but it also looks great in the casual office or out to dinner.

EXCELLENT BASELAYER
November 10, 2010
This is, by far, the best base layer top I have ever purchased. Not only is this top lightweight, but it is incredibly warm and super comfortable and soft. This top is also extremely stretchy, and works well when climbing, hiking, etc. It also has awesome moisture wicking capabilities as I have not gotten wet or damp from sweat while wearing this top! This top also works great as a standalone piece or under a hard shell when in colder temps. The design is excellent and keeps me from overheating! I am 5'10" and 170lbs and the size medium fits perfect. It is not too tight or too loose. I definitely recommend this product over any other brand.

Nice looking, nice fitting and functional. Will use as layer with gortex shell.
Nice Product
November 19, 2010
Nice replacement for an older Arcetryx Shirt. Thin comfortable and warm layer to stand alone or as a midlayer.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, PerformanceExcellent Product!
November 29, 2010
I bought this for my husband and it is the perfect pullover! We were deciding betweent three Arcteryx pieces (Caliber Zip, Delta AR, and this one) and he picked this one because of the length. This one is long enough that it will fit under a harness, i.e. you can tuck it in (he is 6', 160 lb and got the M). Overall, excellent product, we are very happy with it!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Cons: Costlight and comfortable
December 14, 2010
I use this as a layer for skiing, climbing, or just casual night out. The fleece is quite soft and it is amazing.Breathes great when used as a baselayer.
He just loves it!
December 30, 2010
I got this top to my boyfriend. He just loves it. He wears it all the time. It is breathable while still keeping him warm in NW winter. The fit is perfect and it looks very stylish. I actually think he loves this top more than me now ;-)

Great winter layer
January 09, 2011
This is a great lightweight layer for winter sports or wearing over a t shirt as a sweater. It is very versatile. As a layer is is lightweight and not bulky. It also keeps you dry. Color is true to that shown in pictures. I would highly recommend.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useExcellent purchase
January 18, 2011
Lightweight, no need to iron, good for keeping warm in chilly (not freezing) weather. I'm 6 ft and 170 pounds and medium is perfect.

Excellent Fleece Pullover
April 21, 2011
Usual Arcteryx quality and fit! So far so good ... too early to tell how the 100 weight fleece will resist piling over time. Amazingly soft! Trim fitting - 6'1" / 165lbs w/ long arms and torso and the medium fits perfect as a base layer or over a really light short sleeve base layer. Arms are not too short and length is long enough to tuck in. Originally bought a large and it was just way too big.
Pros: Great design, Build qualityGreat Lightweight Fleece
October 01, 2011
This is one of my favorite things to wear. I am planning to buy a second one because I wore the first one so much last year. It make a great first or second layer when you are layering. The fit is best for someone who is fit.
Pros: Lasts forever, Ease of useFavorite Fleece
December 01, 2011
I baught this shirt for a base lare and stand alone for cooler days, but find myself skipping everything else in the closet to put it on. Extremely comfortable, and outstanding look with it's great athletic fit. 6'1" 186lbs and the medium is a perfect form fit. Looking to purchase a second color so I don't have to wash it so often.
Pros: Great design, Build qualityAmazing! So comfortable and warm
December 22, 2011
This product is amazing!! It's not bulky at all, yet just as warm as a fleece jacket! Great for traveling. Wore this shirt underneath my jacket skiing recently and it kept me so warm. You'll live in this!

Great hiking fleece
January 26, 2012
This is a good weight for colder weather activities. It's light but very warm. It's super comfortable and the fit is good, not too tight or too loose. It's a great layering piece.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, comfortable fitDecent Midlayer
February 12, 2012
Great mid-layer that provides a good second layer when out and about in the 30s to 40s but requires additional layering on top of the shirt. I have owned a variety of Arc'teryx products and found this one to be sized a little smaller, at 5'11" 175 lbs. with a fairly athletic build, I usually wear a M in other products the M on this one was a little snug, a L would have been better for layering on top of another shirt but the M fits well over a thermal undershirt.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Cons: runs smallFavorite Fleece
February 21, 2012
Great Fleece I wear it all the time. The new version with the longer zipper is even better for dumping heat when skiing in the sun. I end up wearing the fleece almost every day in the Nor. Cal weather, however it is always in my pack on on me when I am outside. The only issue I have had is that the micro-fleece gets a little pilled around my neck since I am not shaving while in the great outdoors. Love the fit and the length. I will continue to buy this as a layering standard!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts foreverVery light but warm
April 12, 2012
This is a great light weight fleece..... Very light weight. For its weight it is exceptionally warm, great for fall or spring hiking. Im 5 11 and 150 pounds and a medium fits snug, i could fit a large or medium well. The inside of the fleece is really soft which can make it hard to get on over a long sleeve wool shirt. If its hot out it can pack down to nothing in my backpack. I love the tad bit long zipper in the front for venting and the collar, when zipped up is not to tall but tall enough to keep your neck warm. Just dont expect a mid weight fleece, this is light, oh so light. Material doesnt feel super durable but feels very good quality.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performancearcteryx delta lt- very good baselayer
July 09, 2012
I have delta ltw, which is compararable to this one. This is a must baselayer in cold weather. When it is not that cold, you can wear it alone. But normally in the winter time, I put it on under my shell or under my softshell jacket. It is a little tight on body, so I do recommend to go to the store and try it on before you buy on line. I wear LARGE size, but I needed a extra LARGE instead. Be aware of it. Overall, it is an excellent baselayer. But it is a little pricey
Pros: Great design, Build quality, PerformanceGreat Light Fleece
November 01, 2012
I usually have a set of this fleece in my pack, its very light, comfortable and a great warming layer. It is fleece so it will not stop any wind but this top and a light rain cover will work very well on most hikes. It is typical Arcteryx quality and it seems to be holding up to years of use without any problems. Sizing is a bit small, I usually am a large but need XL for Arcteryx gear. I am very happy with this product even if it was a pit pricey.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueexcellent light jacket
January 31, 2013
This is an excellent light fleece, with a micro-grid pattern on the outside. It holds up well in the wash, and I haven't had any issues with pilling. It's warm for the weight, and perfect for CA weather. The front is pretty short, about hip length -- and I appreciate the longer back. It's trim but not tight or restrictive. I'm 5'9", 145lbs, and I like a slimmer fit; the small fits me perfectly.
