Great jacket
October 17, 2011

I got this jacket as a gift. This is quite an upgrade from the North Face windwall which i had for 3 years. This is very easy to wear and perfect for hiking and running. the size is also not tricky, i am 160 lb and 5'11'' and M fits me very well. given the high performance of this jacket, i would definitely recommend it to my friends.

great all-around
September 15, 2011

I love this coat. Its very light and layers like a charm. The jacket is warm in chilly conditions, but I haven't had a chance to test it in inclement weather. The shoulders are roomy but the sleeves are long and I have to fold them. However, I love the freedom of movement and the technology. i feel bombproof.

I love this jacket!!!
August 18, 2011

I'm 6 foot tall and 180 and the medium fits perfectly. there is just enough room to layer with a thin t-shirt and fleece. It's great for the Fall and early Winter seasons. It's super stretchy and water resistant. I give this 5 full stars. (even if it doesn't have an inside pocket.)

Great Jacket
May 09, 2011

The design and construction of this jacket is so perfect it is almost unreal. This windproof, but unbelievably breathable fabric is versatile enough to be worn during evenings in the summer, and on the slopes during the winter. A massive temperature range is testament to how ingenious this jacket is. I also have the hooded version which is just even better!

Great for play or the mex restaurant up the street
April 20, 2011

This is a terrific jacket. Sometimes I feel a little guilty for spending a substantial sum when I could get something for quite a bit less. But not for this jacket. It's lightweight, warm and the fit is exactly what I wanted (close but not suffocating). Great for the Y, running outside or just going to the mexican place up the street. Plus Arcteryx is the premier brand in outdoor clothing. You can't go wrong here.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance

waiting for the climb
April 17, 2011

i like my new jacket. up to now i only used it for city purposes, but am eager using it for summer mountaineering - that is why i originally bought it: to keep the hands warm while the partner is climbing. i rate it only 4 points because the jacket still has to perform under really bad conditions.

Great Lightweight Softshell
April 07, 2011

This is a great jacket. It's an unlined softshell with good construction. The fit is slim, but not as slim as some other AT products I've purchased. It's a great 3 season jacket for everything from casual to technical use.

Nice jacket.
February 13, 2011

This jacket is perfect for the South. An unlined Arcteryx softshell is a great idea, and there are not many of them. Comfort range is from 60 down to about 40, or lower with an extra layer. That makes it work for February to May, or October to December. It is breathable yet warm. Works well to cut wind and light rain. The jacket is very well made and fits well. The sleeves are on the long side but that helps with activities like climbing, belaying, and cycling. The LT also has mesh pockets, which allow you to open the zippers and vent the jacket without opening the main zipper. Finally, the jacket has a zipper pocket on the left sleeve. Never had one of these before, but I can see how it would be perfect for a radio during climbing or backpacking. No chest pocket. Stand up collar with fleece liner. One thing that seems a little awkward at first is the long cut rear tail of the jacket. I can see the vision, for cycling maybe, but I am not sure it makes much difference otherwise. When you think of the jacket as shorter in the front for a harness, it makes more sense. I have not missed the long tail on my fleece-lined Gamma jacket. I bought an XL. I wear a 46 or 48 suit jacket and a 17.5 x 35 shirt. It fits perfectly and I can layer a sweater or vest under it. A Large would be pretty trim I think.

Good jacket! It's very comfortable, and It's very suitable for spring or autumn and could provide windproof and high breathable. Same with other Arc'teryx items, It has a high quality. I am satisfied with it.

Brilliant
January 03, 2011

Lightweight, comfortable, snug fit (5'10", 165 lb, Medium is perfect). The fabric seems really durable, but I've only had it a week, and am pretty hard on gear, so we'll see. I'm new to Arcteryx, but very impressed so far. The LT seems kind of like a really nice shirt -- I don't think it'd keep you warm in the winter unless you were running uphill, but that is what I got it for. I used it as a second layer under a thicker softshell and a hard shell when I went night-boarding and it was great for that, but mostly this seems like a high-output shell. I haven't used it in rain or snow yet, but my baby has spit up on the shoulder three times -- wipes right off with no visual residue or smell. I LOVE the high pocket placement -- strap on the belt of a backpack and there's no need to worry about crushing whatever you stashed there. I think this is going to become my active-wear garment of choice for a long time to come.

nice jacket
January 03, 2011

great quality; not terribly warm; the green color is almost an olive/mustard color (not the nicest, in my opinion)

Great fit & light & warm jacket
December 06, 2010

This jacket is very light and suprisingly warm even though it doesn't look like it at first glance. I have just tested in very freezing temperature. It is not bulky and very fitting - true-to-size. Actually better than other similar jackets from North Face.

Awesome jacket, it 's very suitable for spring or fall, I feel very comfortable with it, it can prevent me from wind and not heavy rain, moreover, it 's so breathable. Due to its lightweight, it's so easy to put into my package for trip, At last, it looks cool in appearance. I like it.

Great everyday jacket
February 22, 2010

I love this jacket. Great for everyday and especially in the wind. Just what I was looking for.

Outstanding jacket
December 14, 2009

I purchased this jacket for my son. He said it is the best jacket he has ever owned! He likes the feel of the fabric as well as the fit, but especially the warmth it provides. Definitely a 5!

great lightweight jacket
August 26, 2009

Overall it is exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight, not bulky, the go-anywhere, do-anything jacket in temps over 45. I give it a 4 instead of a 5 rating b/c of the color. I thought it would be a lighter silver/gray color and its darker than I would have liked.
