I forgot to pack rain pants and went hiking. These suprisingly held up against the rain even though they aren't designed to and did not get super wet. They are of the highest quality construction!

I now have 4 pairs of these pants and I almost never wear anything else. They are tough, light weight, dry extremely quickly and continue to look good with little if any wear visible even after such extensive use. If I could get away with it I would NEVER wear any other type of pants.

There is not one thing I would change about these pants. They offer plenty of protection against overgrown trails and breath well enough to be worn in the summer. Yet offer enough protection to handle central California's winters.

This is the lightest color available in Arcteryx pants. These are great for walking in Sun and Heat. Much better than white which would stain and soil too easily. These PALISADES dry quick and resist most of the moisture. All 4 front pockets have great zippers that will keep your valuables secure and safe. The laminated pockets are super comfortable too! These pants fit great. The belt can be used to make the waist fit like a glove!

These pants fit like a glove, yet still allow for ample movement. Along with this, the workmanship is impeccable. They're a bit pricey, of course, but worth it.

The men's palisade pant is a great gift for my big brother. He is very outdoorsy and is always looking for a quality item for him to wear on his long hikes and adventures. I would highly recommend this item for anyone's Christmas list!

I love these pants BUT.... While on a 7 day hike I was passing through an area of trail overgrown with shrubs and ripped an L-shaped hole approximately 5 inches across the front right thigh. Fortunately I had ductape to put the rip back together as the fabric did not take well to sewing. I still like the pants but this was a costly $125 mistake. Everyone else wearing cheaper nylon or cotton pants passed through the area without even a snag. Buy them; just watch where you are going...

I bought this pants for spring/summer hiking, and now I'm fully satisfied with it. It's light and extremely breth well, and dry very quickly, and all movements are comfort with this pants. About the design, it's great to using outdoor as well as 'in-door' and quality of Arc'teryx is extremely good.

Best light weight nylon pants ever!

I have been searching for these pants for 2 yrs. They came true to size (I wear 36"W, 30"L). The nylon is light weight. There are right & left side and cargo pockets, as well as right back pocket, all zippered. Pockets are made of mesh lining for easy drainage & drying. Zippered front fly and snap waist with integral nylon belt with easy plastic closure. These are serious, well made pants. You won't lose your gear.

After I used these pants for a week, I think these pants are one of the best products for a summer day, because they are made of very thin nylon, and are lightweight and very comfortable.

I realize these pants aren't cheap, but the quality and fit are great. Fabric is great, lightweight, stretchy, strong, wind-resistant, and even comfortable! These are the best all-around hiking/walking pants I've every purchased.I always wear.

I have been wearing Arcteryx Palisade pants for several years now, and they are the best. They hold up well in backcountry settings, whether on trail or off-trail hiking. And they are great "knock around the house" pants. They dry quickly, cut the wind, and allow for a full range of movement, even though slim cut. As usual, the quality workmanship and materials in Arcteryx products can be seen throughout. Haven't seen another product on the market that even comes close.

Im 5'10, 175lbs and these pants feel like they were custom tailored. This is my second pair of Arc Teryx Pants after my initial purchase of the Rampart last year. The fit of the Rampart was so good I was pleasantly surprised to find the same results with the Palisade. They are extremely well made, comfortable and do everything for the outdoor adventurer as advertised. Im saving up for a pair of soft shells.
