Originally purchased these for fieldwork, but the cross over great for climbing, so that's what I use them for the most. Super durable, well made, and the stretch fabric makes doesn't bind up. If I had one gripe, it would be that they tend to bind up with boxers. I love the Patagonia synthetic boxers, and I dont know if it's just a matter of the material sort of clinging together, but it's sort of irritating. However, I don't wear boxers while climbing (wipe that look off your face), so it's not really an issue. I thought they might be a tad warm at first, but even on smarmy days in the gym (I live in central California, so there's a lot of smarmy days in the gym), I tend to stay pretty cool. As an added bonus, they do work great in the field, if there are any other biologists out there reading this. Snag free and tough for bushwacking, and water beads up and rolls right off. Id buy another pair for sure.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Cons: Cost
