Its the lightest and the warmest base layer I have ever had. Its very good quality and breaths very well. They stretch better than other base layers I had before and dry out almost immediately.

great lightweight warmth
June 01, 2012

The Phasic SV fabric is familiar: warm but not too warm. Very lightweight. Somewhat itchy at first. Fast drying. Durable. These tights are well-designed and seem to fit well from top to bottom. They stay in place under other layers. They can go over or under socks. I am very comfortable in mine and even in cold weather with only thin nylon pants on top, I get warm quickly and stay comfortable with almost any level of activity.

Phase SV Bottom
January 03, 2011

I purchased these for December skiing in Vermont. They are very warm, yet breathable. I was nice and warm, while not overheating during skiing. They were a little large length wise. They are a fantastic base layer. Mid-Weight is a great description, but I can't imagine wearing anything heavier.

Men's version should have a fly for going to the bathroom. very comfortable next to the skin. I've used them in area and back country. They were warm enough under shell pants on a 7deg. day at Arapaho Basin. They breath well while skinning and dry quickly.

Pros: Performance, Cons: no fly
Comfort: 5 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5

It‘s the warmest base layer and I bought one more for a friend. Good quality and easy for stretch. It dried out quickly during the trekking. I would highly recommend it.

It 's lighter than I thought it would be. It 's not better than Arc'teryx Rho ar bottom in providing warm. But it's more breathable and more suitable for these winter outdoor activities such as skiing. Moreover, it's high quality and fits me a little large.
