Soft and warm
Use these as my warm bottoms baselayer. Used them on a recent winter attempt on Rainier. While I failed these (Plus my Gamma SKs) kept me warm in some serious wind. I also use them skiing in Washington with some Hardshell bibs. I'v used them from 25 to 50 degrees; waiting till next year to push them colder.

Great bottom
It is soft and warm. It is light and good fit. These work great as a mid to heavy weight base layer under softshell pants for cold days and function good for trail running as well.

Warm bottem
I have a patagonia Capilene 3 bottom, but in the winter, it is not very well for the cold weather. So I bought this bottom, without doubt, this Rho Ar bottom is much warmer than patagonia C3 bottom, I don't need to worry the coming winter, Moreover, this bottom is more comfortable, I am so satisfied.

Overall very nice if it fits you.
I tried it on but ended up returning it due to the fit. It's light and very warm from what I can feel. However, it was too short for me. Me: 6' tall, 32 inseam, 180lbs with 42 shoulder/33 waist. I got a Large due to my rather large butt/thighs. It was loose and way to short. I'm thinking maybe mine was defective? I was going to order a Medium but I was afraid that will be too short as well.... My initial impression was good, just too short for my legs.
