wears great, keeps you warm
I was in subzero windchill with an insulated 3/4 base and the Rho LTW bottom. I was comfy without even thinking about it. As the season ends, I expect to use these as my only base layer. Very comfy and would recommend.

Warm and dry
These Rho LTW are great. I wear them with my soft shell pants. They regulate my temperature very well - warm and dry, not sweaty and hot. I have had issues with wool due to sensitive skin. No issue with these bottoms. Best buy in my opinion.

Maximum warmth from a minimal base layer.
The Rho LTW fabric exceeded my expectations for both warmth and wind protection. I own a regular pair of Arcteryx Rho bottoms and the bulk to efficiency ratio can't compare to the Merino LTW Rho. At 6'3", 225lbs and a 36" waist the length was just right on the Large. Excellent buy. I'm now looking for the boot cut length.

Very Comfortable
I uses these when I train outside on cold days. Like the above reviewer said, they are just a little long, though I have that problem with most pants, (I'm 5' 9" wearing the mediums) so I don't consider it to be a problem, they're tights so it's not like they drag on the floor or anything. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase, I bought an additional 2 pair, that's how much I like 'em!

Great running tight-a little long in the leg
I have to have wool, merino wool, to be at one with the world. That being said, these tights keep me warm and the wind off. As with other reviews, the lengthn is about 2"-3" too long. I'm 5'11" tall, 235 lbs. I have to roll the bottom of the tights up about 3" to make them work. All in all, I would not change the construction. I use the leg pocket to keep an ID tag for emergencies. I have tested them as low as 15 degrees and they feel great. I plan on wearing them alone for winter jogging and cross country skiing. Since they were on sale, I couldn't justify not buying them.
