To keep weight and bulk to a minimum, the Arc'teryx Men's Theta AR Bib focuses on the essentials and utilizes the tough yet lightweight GORE-TEX® Pro Shell fabrics. It's the perfect bottom half of the ideal backcountry skiing and alpine climbing outfit, offering key comfort components such as lengthy side zips for easy venting, articulated knees and seat, gusseted crotch and quick adjust suspenders. The Theta AR Bib is made-up of two GORE-TEX® Pro Shell fabrics, high tenacity ripstop 380NR 3-layer and highly abrasion resistant 480N 3-layer in the seat and knees. This premium series of GORE-TEX® is lighter, tougher, and even more breathable than similar GORE-TEX® of recent years. The micro seam allowances and tiny GORE-TEX® seam tape not only improve breathablility and make the bib more supple, but Arc'teryx found that these textiles work very well with their acclaimed laminated construction. It's synergy of materials and technique, making a better all-around bib for the challenging alpine environment.
