Top of the line!
Top of the line jacket!! Awesome true to the size fit. I'm 6'2, 165lbs. and jacket fits just right even with enough space for a mid-layer. Would recommend for all skiers and boarders!!

Great shell, great length, best all around one
I really like the cut on this jacket. Great length. Fit is not as tight as the alpha sv, it looks better. I have been wearing it for skiing. No matter what the weather was, I stayed dry, and it held up really well. I see wearing it for many more years to come. The Deep Dusk color is really awesome. If you have the money, buy it.

Great jacket, one gripe
Its my 2nd Archteryx and I remain happy...wish they did a better job on the velcro sleeve as I can not get my glove inside it...more elastic would have done the trick.

Great shell
This shell is solid, even though its the longest shell according to Arc'teryx its really a normal length to wear for skiing and all around. I bought this to be an all purpose shell and for skiing. After trying almost every model this is the perfect one for what I needed. It's long enough to cover any layers you would wear, and cut with a trim athletic look. There is even a water bottle mesh pocket that is perfect for goggles. The hood and collar are excellent for storm protection, and keep your entire face covered when zipped up. As far as ski shells go, this is actually better in my opinion than their white line.

Perfect All-Around Tough Jacket
This is your ideal tough four-season jacket. The cut is long, so be sure of that when you order this. I goes to about half-way down your thigh. Full seat coverage. The material is super tough to withstand dense brush or rock and ice. Pit zips add for you protection. The black and orange color seems a little Halloweenish to me, but color doesn't really matter when a shell performs this well. Craftsmanship seems about as good as previous made in Canada Arcteryx items. It doesn't really get any better than this.

Arc'teryx Theta SV Jacket
While the dark dusk color is subdued and nice, the bright neon orange zippers detract a bit. Nothing too major, though.
Fit is good, though with Arc'teryx one needs to be aware of the various cuts they outfit their jackets and tops with. While I tend to wear XXL in other more athleticly-cut jackets, in this one I went with an XL, which allows room for decent layering options for 'normal'-weather in my area and for my uses. Layers necessary for excessive cold would probably not fit under it, but thankfully I have another jacket that can accommodate those days.
Workman ship is good. I like the beefier and smoother main zip they went with over the other style found on my other Arc'teryx jacket; it seats easier and zips smoother.

Awesome jacket
Without any doubt, This Arc'teryx hardshell jacket is absolutely awesome, Since I got it, I don't fear any chilly wind or heavy rain due to its materials. Moreover, it is so breathable, I feel comfortable with it. Another advantage, it 's so stylish, I like it.

Great Coat, Great Style
This is not the first ArcTeryk jacket I have purchased, and my arsenal includes over 6 of them. Their quality is unsurpassed, and I have owned a lot of other brands (Kjus, NorthFace, Peak Performance, Bogner, Orage, Burton, etc). It seems I always come back to ArcTeryk!
In particular, this Theta SV jacket is awesome! From a style standpoint it is much longer and thus a somewhat unique style from them. The color Totem is also unique, and very cool.
The volume inside the coat is ample providing plenty of room for layers depending on the outside temp. GoreTex means no wind or wet gets through. If desired, it could be the only jacket needed throughout the entire winter - Layer it up for warmth, use as a shell for spring skiing.
Absolutely a great jacket! Can't wait for Snowmass to open 11/25 so I can use it.
