I bought it for hiking and it's great. All I wore underneath them were thermals and I stayed dry. also very lightweight, so it was very easy to move around, plus it's comfortable. I would definitely recommend to my friends.
Lightweight and waterproof

These pull-on pants are lightweight, waterproof and comfortable. I have worn them as an overpant for extra warmth, and also as a waterproof pant. I bought them as a replacement for worn out goretex pants, and I am happy with them.

I bought Arcteryx SL alpha as a surprise gift for Christmas for my wife since I needed something that's waterproof, light, easy to pack and good quality. I was very pleased to learn that my wife thought that the pants look much better on her then she would have thought after looking at the image of it on the website. She usually wears them on top of hiking pants in case of the rain or for cross country skiing for it's wind proof features. And it matched great with her Arcteryx SV alpha miro blue jacket. I definately recommend this product.

It's super-light, breathable, and comfortable. I love it very much. Someone look for a light pant with good shape should choose this one.
