My wife bought this and it was her first Arc'teryx jacket. She said this jacket is feather light and yet provides so much warmth. I think she became a big fan of Arc'teryx :)

I've only just received this jacket as a gift, but I love it already! As with all Arc'teryx products I own, I am impressed by the design & quality. The DWR finish is great, as are the stretch-woven cuffs. I've used it around the city, in the backcountry, & have been very impressed so far! A friend of mine has the men's version of this jacket and also loves it. Great on its own or for an insulation layer when skiing.

My first arc'teryx jacket & I love it. It is very warm and lightweight. The sizing is true to size. I'm 130lb & 5'3, a medium is good for layering. I'm going to purchase more arc'teryx products!

I bought this jacket for my wife as a gift. Having bought Arc'teryx brand for myself before, I knew Arc'teryx would deliver. For some reason my wife likes TNF jackets style, and she was not convinced about this one and Arc'teryx in general until she put the Atom SV Hoody on. It was an instant winner. The jacket looked as if it was custom tailored for my wife - simply unbelievable, even I was shocked how well it did fit. My wife is 5'3/122 and I got her S in blue. I have nothing against TNF brand, and in fact I think it is a quality brand, but comparing TNF to Arc'teryx is like comparing Toyota to Lexus - it is simply different class these two belong to. True, Atom SV Hoody is not cheap, but the quality is unparalleled, so much that my wife insisted on buying the Sentinel shell to have a complete skiing set. The Atom fits the Sentinel just perfectly, as if they were made together as a set. The design of the hood is perfect, as it provides coverage effectively everywhere except your eyes and nose. The jacket is soft and comfy, packs down almost to nothing, and it is so light you wouldn't even know you're wearing it if you did not look in the mirror. The only thing I am not sure of is how warm it is, as it is difficult to relay on my significant other opinion about feeling cold since no jacket yet proved to be warm enough for her :). So if you're thinking of buying this for yourself or as a gift, just make sure you pick the suitable size and color, and let Arc'teryx do the rest of the magic - it won't let you down.

I only expect the best from Arcteryx and wasn't disappointed with my recent purchase of this jacket! They seem to fit me well (size M, 5'10", 130lbs) and I love the feel of it!
