Featuring a superb women's specific fit, the Arc'teryx Bora 62 backpack carries a multi-day load of backcountry gear in luxurious comfort. They begin with an innovative suspension system, the core of which is a HDPE frame sheet with two 6061 aluminum stays placed in a V configuration. From the base of this V, the hipbelt is actually free to pivot, so it doesn't interfere with natural hip movement during a typical stride. At either edge of the suspension flexible composite rods, attached to both the thermoformed backpanel / suspension frame and the pack bag, transfer weight forward and to the hipbelt freeing the lady backpacker from any sensation of carrying a sack of potatoes. Furthermore, the Arc'teryx Bora 62 backpack features a women's specific, luxuriously comfortable hipbelt. Luxuriously comfortable because it is made from four layers of variable density foam and thermoformed into a cupped shape that ensures full contact with the hips. It transfers the load gently over the entire hip, regardless of the size and shape of the individual user. Similarly, the dual density shoulder straps follow feminine contours and contribute to the ongoing comfort. Both the hipbelt and shoulder harness come in three sizes to make sure of a precise fit and both are made with a laminated stretch woven surface over the top of the foam for excellent durability and carrying comfort. Similar attention to detail and craftsmanship are found on the pack bag. The WaterTight™ fabric is the most stunning example. 100% waterproof, super abrasion resistant, with outstanding snow shedding characteristics, it also features a white-backed laminate for excellent interior visibility for stowed camping gear searches. Other key features include a full length side zip, external kangaroo pocket, and sleeping bag compartment, all with WaterTight™ zippers. The Arc'teryx Bora 62 backpack also includes a hydration bladder pocket and hose clip, an internal laminated kangaroo pocket for gear organization, and dual ice axe loops, daisy chains, wand pockets, and sleeping pad straps for numerous gear attachment options.
