I love this, but not in black. It seems to pill. Every other color has been great. I bought 4, 2 hoodies 2 zips, no problems and it's fits like a glove. I also bought 2 for my husband. I love Arc'teryx quality and style!

arcteryx is my new favorite brand. the covert series fits so perfectly, cut for a real female person - it seems to mold right to your body. extra fine stitching and little details that make the difference in fit and style so the piece is unique and a cut above the other popular brands. i love the covert hoody and the pullover and i am going to buy the cardigan w/out hood!

Perfect fit
Nice and soft for the Pacific Northwest weather. Great cut and fit well (not too long) for petite women with curves. It is perfect for traveling without worries about wrinkles.

fabulous fleece
I bought this last year in the pumpkin pie, and it quickly became my favorite fleece (aside from the maverick sv for really cold weather.) I wear it all the time and haven't had any pilling. It's comfortable under a pack and has survived a lot of abuse. I have a long torso and I wish it was just an inch longer when I bend forward.

Warm and Stylish
I bought one of these in Raisin for my girlfriend because she was always wearing mine. This is an awesome fleece. As outerwear it looks great and is warm without being hot. It lacks wind resistance but with any type of wind shell this baby heats you right up. She wears a medium and is 5'10" and the length perfectly covers her torso. The hood is somewhat goofy on a guy but looks very sleek on a woman. I've had no experience with these pilling.

Simply the best
I spent 5 months looking for the perfect fleece for an upcoming 7 month trip and I found it in the covert cardigan! It is light weight so it is easy to throw in your pack but still keeps you nice and toasty. Its moisture wicking performance is top notch and the material feels like your favorite sweatshirt. I can't wait to take it on our next voyage!

Cozy sweater
The pumpkin pie color looks great on. It's nice and cozy with the fleecy inside and wool-looking outside. Fits pretty true to size, nicely fitted, but a little short like a lot of arc'teryx stuff (it hits just below my iliac crests), which is fine as long as I'm not bending over. And it doesn't offer much in the way of wind protection, so if it's windy out i have to wear a shell too. all in all, it's great for what it is... a cozy casual attractive sweater, but not a real technical piece.

Great design
I bought this jacket because of its design and overall look to wear around town, and not as a technical piece. No one does hoods like Arc'teryx, and this is probably the best fit I'd ever had in fleece jackets. I like it that Arc'teryx's sizing is closer to European sizes. Wearing a size S is, for once, what it should look like, and not a full-body tent. If this hadn't been on sale, I would have never bought it--too pricey for something that isn't wind/waterproof.

warm, figure flattering, stylish, easy care
What more is there to say? I loved my hoody on sight. The contrast trim is cool, the zipper pockets are perfectly placed, and there's an extra pocket for my iPod on the upper arm! Fantastic for early morning walks with the dog, and because of the slim fit it does very well under a waterproof shell. Go for it!

I normally wear a small and this jacket fits me perfectly. Size up if you would like to wear layers. Good for cool weather with a long sleeve shirt underneath. I love the plum color.

great jacket but size up one
The covert hoody is versatile and functional. great to use for layering with ski wear but also for casualwear when traveling. there is an difference in the sizing. if you like a snug "figure-forming-fit" get a size medium. otherwise, a size large will give you a more relaxed fit,especially through the bust. this jacket is very flattering either way. it looks good and feels good. because it's comfort and practicality, i'm going to order another large plum hoody.

Best fleece ever!
I have had all types of fleece and this is the best hands down. Aside from being warm, the look is of a knitted wool sweater. So it can be worn not only under a gore shell for technical layering, but my under my suede coat in the pub as well. Perfectly melds performance and style.

Wonderful jacket
Polartec that looks like wool! Great design and craftsmanship. Flattering fit. Size - a bit smaller than expected. I normally wear medium but large size of this jacket feels like small-medium. Overall - excellent jacket. Price is quite high if it is not on sale!

Awesome
I just ordered this and I love it. It's not bulky at all, but there is still enough room for a couple layers underneath. The fit is perfect for a woman, especially if she is petite. It also breathes really well -- you stay warm outside, and stay cool inside. I'm sure it will become one of my favorites...it's definitely flattering and functional.

I was absolutely in love with this jacket when I bought it. I still love it, but it is starting to pill after only a month of wear. It is also more difficult to keep clean and hairless than my arc'teryx maverick ar. I mostly use this for casual wear though. It is amazingly warm for it's weight (very light).

A nice sweater for street wear, but not for mountaineering
As usual for Arcteryx this is a sleek, well designed piece of clothing, but in my opinion this is not something that can be used for mountaineering or skiing. It has a technical look but is designed for casual wear, the outside of the fabric even looks like a sweater. It is not cut generously, so is really made to be used over a tee shirt or other lightweight top. For what it is, it is excellent. I was just slightly disappointed in that I expected something that I could climb a peak with and then go out to dinner in. Pick something else if you want a technical piece of outerwear. If you want something that has a technical look but you just want to walk your dog in the park, this will fit the bill. Is Arcteryx looking to become the new Patagonia?

Nice look but not practical
I love the look of this Hoody but find when it zips up to the top, the top of the zipper is very scratchy under the chin. Also, the hood is fitted that I look like a speed skater (kinda cool, but if you have a large head this Hoody may not be for you).
