This harness (and the R320 men's) are deceiving in how comfortable they can be without all the padding of much heavier models. Both on belay (of someone 20-30 Lbs heavier than I) and climbing this harness really shines. Despite the $$$ it is the best harness I have purchased to date.

The harness seems good and at a great price. I really like arc'teryx gear. I ordered a medium after previous reviews said that the harness ran small, but I found that the harness did not actually run small. I am now exchanging for smaller size.
Good design but awkward leg loop to waist ratio

The harness is light and packs fantastically well, but I've had trouble getting a good size. The leg loops fit small in proportion to the waist. The rise, however, is significantly more comfortable than my previous men's petzl harness. The haul loop could be tougher, too (in both mens and womens). But the weight is hard to beat and if it fits, it is a great design.

Ladies! This harness is definately worth the extra pennies. It's very comfortable on- even hanging in it. Even though it's super thin, without tons of padding it's one of the most comfortable harnesses I've tried.
Durable, lightweight harness

I'm very pleased with this harness choice. I had previously owned the Black Diamond Primrose harness in XS, which wasn't bad, but I was looking for something less bulky and heavy. The R280 is significantly more expensive, but it had absolutely delivered in comfort and lightness. I'm a sport climber, and it is perfect for my redpoints, however, if you're planning to hanging around in it all day, it might be nice to go with something with a bit more padding. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase. (Side note on sizing: I wore an XS in the BD, but got the R280 in S, the sizing chart is accurate for this harness).
Best harness ever!

This harness is the most comfortable harness ever. Half the weight of my last one. The fuschia color is more like burgundy so if you don't like pink, don't worry. Sizing is perfect from the charts!
Quality harness and light-weight.

My previous harness weighed 2.5x of this harness. Unlike other harnesses, the R280 is super slim, light + convenient to pack. Make sure you try on this harness and test it out on a climbing wall before buying it. The only con about this harness would be the leg loops. It is slightly uncomfortable when you're belaying (the loops pulls tight around the legs), but when you sit into the harness, it feels quite comfy and nice.

This harness is so great. It is so light and comfortable. The leg loops are just fine, they're not tight on me. Worth all the money. Best harness ever.
