Great shorts
This is my fourth purchase of this style. Just love the look. They are very light weight for travel and fold down to nothing. The two cargo pockets are perfect-- cell phone in one and ID and keys in the other.
I purchased size 10 and I'm 5'4" weighing 125 lbs. The shorts hit me mid-knee in length.

good value
The shorts are comfortable and nice looking. I wish I ordered one size smaller. i think they run pretty large. Wouldn't mind another pair in a fun color or pattern.

Really nice shorts but the waist gaps
These shorts are high quality and the material feels light and slightly stretchy. The length makes them perfect for wearing under a harness. Unfortunately they gapped by a few inches in the back of the waist. I am 5'2" 125 pounds and I normally wear a size 2 or 4. I ordered a 4 in these shorts based on the sizing chart. They fit well in the hips and legs but the waist was way too big. I suspect that they are designed to have a more low-rise fit, and thus the "large" waist is supposed to fit over the hip, but for a petite woman they sit at the waist. If you normally have a problem with pants gapping at the waist, then I think these will gap as well.

slim/junior sized
I ordered according to the Arcteryx size chart and they fit. You should know that they are sized/shaped like junior clothes. They have a strong surfer dude vibe happening-- and that's why I'm returning, even though they fit.

Half my summer uniform.
These shorts are fantastic. The fit is great, and I have a terrible time finding shorts that work on me. I'm 5' 2" and 120lbs with short legs. The size small just barely covers my knees and is neither constrictive nor loose. The cut is flattering and I can easily hike, climb, or run in these. The fabric is very lightweight, washed well and is comfortable against my skin. I'll be wearing these all summer!

Happy with purchase
After reading the great reviews, I bought the shorts just to rack around in with my toddler. They are light weight, have an easy to care for fabric and they are comfortable. I go between a size 6 & 8 but ended up buying them in an 8 and they fit perfectly. I think they may run a bit on the small side.

Love these shorts!
The fabric and style are perfect for active wear. I loved them so much, I have purchased several because I wear them almost daily. Top notch quality; I always get compliments. Only wish they came in black, too.

Perfect for almost any Summer activity
I loved these shorts so much I now have 4 pairs in three colors. Originally, I bought a pair for hiking in New Zealand. I couldn't have asked for a better pair of shorts. Wore them constantly. They are ultra-comfortable, lightweight, cool, easy to keep clean, easy to wash out, and dry quickly. And they're long enough to keep your knees from getting burnt. To top it all off, they're flattering. They're fully functional for strenuous activity but look cute and kind of refined for walking around town worn with a nice top and stylish, low-heeled sandals. I constantly get complements from trekkers admiring the technical features and from "style mavins". Thanks. So glad you carried them.(Wish they made these as long pants for cooler days.)

Awesome ordering a size up
The material is top notch, the hitch I believe is ordering a size up. I'm a size 6, but ordered a size 8. Due to the fit, it really worked better.

didn't like the fit and look
Fabric and quality of this product is amazing. What I did not like is mainly the fit. I have a pear shape body and these shorts feel tight at the thighs and look awkward in general.
