The lightweight Arc'teryx Solano Jacket for women is a polyester faced WINDSTOPPER® shell that sheds moisture exceedingly well and balances protection with active use breathability. Nylon lined sleeves facilitate donning the jacket, and gives ease of movement. a brushed polyester lining on the body wicks moisture and adds a small degree of insulation

Get this one! Medium is long in torso and arms Love , love LOVE this jacket! I am a huge fan of Gore Windstopper stuff and have a lot of it. Most of my things are a bit heavier and can be bulky on a bike or in a kayak when the breeze comes up late in the afternoon. Since I had purchased a like garment for my husband (also made of Windstopper) in Switzerland a few years ago, I kicked myself for not having purchased one for myself as well. When I found this one at I jumped on it because it was not only Windstopper but also an Arc'teyrx. When it arrived I was more than pleased; a wonderful garment with an excellent fit. Looks stylish too. SIZE Info:I If you are between a small and medium, get the medium. I am a size 6 misses but ordered the medium and it is just perfect. A small would not have fit in the shoulders. I'm 5'9" and the jacket is plenty long enough in the body and in the arms. I'm not sure what happened with one of these other customers who said it was short. August 5, 2010
Nice jacket, strange fit Arc'teryx products are probably great for short, petite people. But I'm 5'7" and the jacket barely touched my navel, and I am not particularly long-waisted. I tried on some other Arc'teryx jackets at REI, and all of them were shaped like this. February 12, 2010
Nice light jacket This jacket is very light weight and retains warmth in high winds. While not water proof, it is highly water resistant and will keep you fairly dry in light rain. It also feels great. September 3, 2009
