Whether bagging remote Alaskan peaks, backcountry telemarking in the Wallowas, or alpine touring in the Alps, the lightweight yet tenaciously tough Arc'teryx Women's Theta AR Bib is built to meet your alpine-specific needs. GORE-TEX® 3 Layer Pro is the fabric of choice here, with extra tough 480N GORE-TEX® 3 Layer Pro used in abrasion prone areas. Venting side zips extend all the way down the pant from a high point just below where backpack hipbelts and climbing harness waist belts usually hit. These zips are not only watertight, but they're laminated to the pant, a signature Arc'teryx construction technique that offers numerous advantages. The watertight zipper eliminates the need for a heavy zipper flap, while bonding the zipper instead of sewing it is proven to improve garment strength and suppleness. Powder cuffs are laminated to the Theta AR Bib too, and Keprotec™ instep patches protect the pant from misguided crampon points and ski edges.
