Designed for all around use in the mountains, the Women's Arc'teryx Theta AR Jacket is one of the lightest weight stormproof shells you'll find. It features durable high denier fabric to withstand 4 seasons of rugged use whether you're ski touring in Wyoming or trekking in Nepal.
Providing fully seam sealed waterproof protection, this Arc'teryx jacket is made with 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro Shell fabric for premium performance and breathability – a must when the clouds open up and you're working hard. The Arc'teryx athletic fit features anatomical, women-specific shaping and no-lift underarm gussets, giving you room to move and layer up underneath and also reducing bulk. The extra long cut of this rain jacket keeps you covered while hiking with a pack on and the waterproof zippers seal out drips and provide ventilation to cool you down on ascents. Harness compatible pockets and a stiff-brimmed, helmet-compatible hood help it adapt to anything alpine while its sleek styling is unmistakably Arc'teryx.
Fully featured, lightweight and versatile, the Arc'teryx Women's Theta AR Jacket is engineered for performance, from a rainy trek in the Rockies to a ski along a wind-buffed ridgeline.
Really nice jacket

If you can afford this, buy it. There's one drawback: it's a bit bulky, so doesn't 'crunch' down into a small size (as do many others) if one needs space (e.g., if backpacking or climbing). Otherwise, this is a superb jacket and well worth the $$.
Warmest coat ever!

Best coat. Keeps me warm even in the chilliest of ski days. I am always cold when skiing, but this coat kept me warm. Would recommend to anyone! Gone are the days of having to stop for hot chocolate

My wife loves this jacket

This was an anniversary gift to my wife. She's worn it everywhere, most recently in New Zealand where it rained nearly every day for more than a week. This is a bomber jacket and the extra length is worthy the extra $$. That being said, it's expensive but should last a long time. Suggest finding it on sale - happens not infrequently at Altrec.
