At the front, across the shoulders and on the arms where body parts need wind and weather protection, Arc’teryx placed Windstopper® fabric to help retain body heat. At the back, under the arms and at the sides where you build up heat are panels of Altasaris® fabric that are breathable and stretchy to help move sweat outside and enhance mobility. This hybrid running jacket has a trim fit with extra coverage at the back and convenient reach-in and zip pockets on your lower back for small essentials on the trail. A great cycling layer

I have loved the arc'teryx rain jackets I have, when I was offered the opportunity to test this jacket through Gore-Tex's MT program I jumped at the opportunity. I have not been disappointed. The jacket is well made, it is a soft shell material and the color (Magenta) is true to the photo. As I have worn it cycling I have been pleased with the windproofness of the jacket. The jacket is a layer, it doesn't offer lots of extra warmth, which is fine for me as I cycle, but I have found if I throw an extra layer on under it the windproof fabric keeps me warm due to the lack of a breeze. I am 5'5" and I have an athletic build. I have a longer torso and I really like the cut of the jacket as it is longer in the back than the front, this is an added plus in cycling as it keeps my back covered. The 2 pockets in the jacket are both convenient and functional. I really like that they gave a zippered option, I tend to keep my id and such in that pocket and a snack in the other.
