Atlas Snowshoes 1022 Elektra 10 Series Snowshoe (Fall 04):
Improved with better floatation, the female-specific Elektra 1022 utilizes a tapered frame shape for easy clearance with a woman's natural stride. It has a distinct ArchFlex binding design with a padded tongue, arch support and an ergonomic construction that distributes pressure evenly across the bottom of your foot while supporting your arch. Aside from being built around a woman's last and female-specific gait, the Elektra 1022 offers many of the same proven features found in Atlas's 10 Series, including the patented spring-loaded binding, All-Trac toe crampon, Traverse Trac side traction rails and Duratek deck, but the most noticeable enhancement is the weight reduction compared to similarly-sized snowshoes in the unisex 10 Series. The tapered frame design uses less aluminum and Duratek materials, resulting in a lightweight profile that you'll quickly appreciate at altitude or a couple of snow-covered fairways away from home.
