Built on the proven technology and value of the Atlas 6061 aluminum V-Frame, durable stainless steel All-Trac™ toe crampon and flexible decking, the 1127 Elektra 11 Series snowshoes have the added security of our Advanced Aft Traction and a climbing bar to ease strain on calf muscles. The Wrapp™ Plus bindings are specially molded around women's lasts, with supportive arches that cradle the inside of your feet, and the urethane heel strap adjusts easily with the SureClick™ buckle. The Elektra frame features a narrower waist and tapered tail that allows a woman's natural stride to explore deeper terrain in comfort.

Wow! What a difference

I have been using rental snowshoes the 927, men's variety and talked to a rep from Atlas who showed me the difference between mens and womens snowshoes. He convinced me to try the women's and wow what a difference. The Atlas snowshoes have several different series. the 9-series is where I started and the 11 series is where I will stay. The 12 series is the best and just a bit out of my price range. These are very comfy, lightweight and a great color to boot. I haven't tried them with snowboard boots, but I'm going to say they wouldn't really be compatible. A great buy no less.
