It's already light, weighing in at about 1 kilo, but if you strip off a few features and straps, you can get it down to 890 grams. The Arc'on suspension system uses a high density polyethylene foam framesheet, allowing it to be extremely light and durable, it's rigid to support a heavy load and is flexible without barreling if you remove the aluminum stays.
With a removable webbing hipbelt and a simple padded back, this Arc'teryx pack helps distribute your load comfortably while maintaining a streamlined exterior that easily sheds snow and keeps things simple. For climbers it has dual haul loops up top and a "pull-to-close, pull-to-open” drawcord on the top-loading main compartment, making it easy to get into when you have cold, stiff fingers or are wearing bulky gloves. A new innovative ice axe attachment makes it super quick to take out or store your tool and the removable top lid helps keep essentials accessible or can be left at home for day trips.
