Arc'teryx Nozone 55 Backpack:
The mid-sized climbing pack in the Nozone series, the Arc'teryx Nozone 55 Backpack is a little more built out than the smaller 35 liter version, making it a great 3-5 day alpine pack, and keeping it versatile enough to strip down and use for day trips and quick hits. The Nozone 55 weighs 1400 g fully loaded, and is strippable to just over 1000 grams. The Arc'on suspension system is a high density polyethylene foam based framesheet with aluminum stays, allowing the bag to be extremely light and rigid enough when you need stable weight distribution, and if you're going lighter and want to pop out the stays, the framesheet is flexible but won't barrel out.
A removable padded hipbelt and a padded lumbar region provide for a comfortable carry and keep the Nozone 55 streamlined for easy snow shedding. The innovative P'ax axe attachment system allows for one-handed access to your ice axe or technical tools and the pull tab on the drawcord up top lets cold, stiff fingers or gloved hands access the top loading main compartment quickly with minimal dexterity needed. As can be expected from a brand like Arc'teryx, the Nozone 55 pack is modern, lightweight, highly functional and made from premium materials for durability on your toughest adventures.
