Arc'teryx Khamsin 52 (Spring 03):
The Arc'teryx Khamsin 52 is an updated version of the critically acclaimed (perfect scores in Backpacker Magazine) Khamsin 50. Arc'teryx retained all the winning features of the 52's successful predecessor, then made it larger and lighter by adding lightweight Y-Frame components, consisting of a single aluminum stay, a polyethylene frame sheet and composite stabilizer wands. The smooth, water-shedding 420 denier Ripstorm fabric has a polyurethane coating to help keep contents dry. As before, a handy full-length laminated side zipper grants complete and quick access to the main compartment, so you don't have to burrow through all your gear to find what you need.
