Marmot Nomad:
The Nomad is the high-tech cousin of Marmot's Granite commuter pack. Like the Granite, it isn't cluttered with a bunch of daisy chains, ice axe loops and snowboard carrying straps, but it does have extra room and compartments for a laptop, a CD player and a cell phone. There's also an organizer to hold the office supplies that occasionally get "borrowed" from work (that's the price of working at home, right?). Unlike the Granite, the Nomad doesn't have dual water bottle pockets, but we found that we could squeeze in a couple of beverages with the additional 200 cubic inches of space in the main compartment.
