Designed specifically for transporting fragile or sensitive gear, Outdoor Research Padded Cells® feature water-resistant polypropylene wrapped over impact-absorbing closed-cell foam padding. Reversed coil zippers minimize moisture penetration but do not provide a complete watertight seal (pack the contents inside a plastic zip bag inside the Padded Cell and you're in great shape). These storage units are excellent for storing your GPS, digital camera, music player, water filter and cooking stove during transit. Padded Cell #1 features a unique abrasion-resistant EVA molded foam composition that is different from the other designs.
