Good Helmet
February 18, 2011

I got a size up for this helmet so that I could wear a beanie under it, and that worked out great. I fit good but I normal wear a hat that 7 1/8 but the helmet is for 7 1/4 and it fits good. Size up if you want to wear a beanie with it.

Pros: Ease of use, Great value

best for its value
March 11, 2011

got these just like literally a few days ago. managed to get only 1 day in so far, but preformed great for me. l didnt need to wear a beanie underneath for warmth as the liner was good enough. its quite easy to remove the liner if it gets too hot as it sticks on the inside. I got it for like 40ish so it was a really good deal imo. however due to the material of the liner, it sort of eats my hair. so when l remove the helmet l realyl have to be careful that l dont pull out my hair. Overal great helmet, if you want something warmer, get one without holes on the top but its good enough for me. Looked at a few other brands like red and stuff. similar if not the same quality but for cheaper. If you get this, it can be used during the summer too if you remove the liner

Pros: Build quality, Great value, Cons: pulls hair

first helmet!
February 02, 2011

i got this helmet for a trip skiing the resort of jay peak, vermont. it was around -30C with wind and the knit liner kept me warm! i took a few small hits to the head, but nothing major. it looks pretty good and has enough of a low profile for me. looking forward to using it with the visor in the summer months. the matte black comes with a black/grey/white plaid print liner that has a black fuzzy insider liner. goggle clip can have two orientations (top or bottom of the helmet) and needs a screwdriver to install.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value

Solid helmet
May 20, 2011

Solid, good-looking helmet. Less stupid looking then the usual torpedo bike helmet. The swappable liners make this more versatile then most helmets. Runs quite small, so be careful with what you order...

Great Helmet
February 25, 2011

I bought this helmet for a recent ski trip and turned out to be a really comfortable helmet. It came with both the warm shell and the visor which was a nice suprise. I measured my head and used the size chart and the helmet fit perfectly and was extremely comfortable and easy to use. The liner just snapped right in and the straps were easy to adjust.

nice snug fit
April 04, 2011

just took this helmet out for the first time on the mountain. i wear a 7 3/8 hat and the size large helmet fits nicely with the summer brim on and fits snug with the winter fur liner put in. i wasn't able to wear a beanie, but i didn't need it, given that the fur liner was more than warm enough. i didn't take any falls, but the helmet feels solid and grips my head well. im looking forward to using this helmet for biking once the mountains dry up. for the money, the versatility is unbelievable.
