This is THE helmet to get if you tend to run hot. The summer version is less than half the price of the winter version of the Macon. I would be taking the lining out of the winter version and using a thin beanie if it were cold out. So this helmet is the perfect choice.

Overall it's very comfortable, light enough and I don't feel like it slows me down at all (it's aerodynamic). I do sweat in it a little more than I anticipated based on the description on the special foam the helmet features - - but I do expect it to be a great year-round helmet. I feel safe, speedy, and smart in it!
