Great light weight chair option
September 16, 2009
Works well with my Prolite 4 ThermaRest. Weighs less than the ThermaRest chair. Great for light weight backpacking.
A Must have for any backcountry traveler

What an amazing accessory to add to your backcountry pack list. The Big Agnes Cylcone weighs in at a mere 6.5 ounces and is amazingly comfortable to boot. The chair itself is made of tough nylon to prevent tearing or ripping on rocky or rough surfaces and features side straps to adjust your sitting angle making the perfect relaxed fit. The chair fold down and fits into a mesh stuff sack taking up little to no room in your pack. Never leave home again for the backcountry without this chair. you WILL NOT be disappointed!!! 5 stars!!!!
Great Chair Kit....if used wisely.

I absolutely love the Cyclone SL Chair Kit in tandem with my B.A. insulated air core pad. Really comfortable to relax on after a long day on the trail. As other reviewers have noted, this chair kit is super light...which equates to materials that you must be more careful with. However, some of the earlier problems with this kit have been rectified with extra material in susceptible areas (ends of rods). If you want a more rugged chair and don't mind a bit of extra weight, go for the regular B.A. kit, otherwise you can't go wrong with the Cyclone.
Essential for long distance hiking

Even though I'm trying to cut as much unnecessary weight for my upcoming AT Thru-Hike, this Cyclone SL Chair Kit will be included at all costs. After a hard days hiking, it is SO good to be able to sit back in comfort. It is compact, very lightweight and easy to stow. I've only used it once so far on one of my shake out cruises (another scheduled soon), so I don't know how it will hold up and I'm concerned by some other reviews, but I hope BA has corrected any problems. Well, if it does fail, I can see myself ordering a replacement!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
