This CR:412ex binding is specifically made for the high-flying, big-popping Atomic Tweak ski, but this customized configuration doesn't compromise the best technological innovations in the industry: All Atomic bindings have a FullFlex free-gliding attachment between the binding heel unit and toe piece so you don't have to worry about accidental releases while dropping between bumps and other minor terrain depressions. This constant binding pressure improves overall safety through consistent snow contact for better control and superb edge grip. In the front you'll find a four-position Variozone feature that allows you to adjust the binding for your style, technique or snow conditions. The forward position is generally considered for extreme performance and control in short carving or slide-free racing. The back position is ideal for better floatation in powder, long carving or easy racing. The center positions are for all-around applications and crusted powder conditions. Variozone can be quickly adjusted on the slopes without tools, giving you the versatility of modifying your binding and skiing performance without wasting precious ski time. The Twin Disc AFD plate behind the toe piece utilizes two rotating discs that minimize boot sole friction during binding release, even when the boot is worn or covered in dirt, snow or ice.
