Simple to slide on, but sophisticated in design, the Bite Women's Spirit OS thong is an entirely new breed of flip-flop. Most thongs are not much more than a rudimentary way of placing some protection between the ground and your foot. Bite, however, sees this as an opportunity to cradle your foot in comfort, and give it the support you would typically find in running shoes or expensive walking shoes. The Bite Spirit OS women's thong accomplishes this with the cushioning of a Croslite footbed to provide a customer fit. It still has a low profile like you would expect from a flip-flop, even with the added security of aggressive outsole lugs for multi-surface traction. And along with the reliable grip, the Bite Spirit OS thong's patented Toe Guard dares you to venture into territory where you typically would not take flip-flops.

Very comfortable and they look like a real sandal not just beach wear. Be aware the sizing is big. I usually wear a size 7 but after reading a review , I ordered a size 6 and they fit perfectly!

Some one finally figured out that we are not ALL the same when it comes to width! These are the greatest sandals, I LOVE them! They are true to size, and the width can be adjusted (imagine that!) Best of all you can walk in them for hours and your feet feel fantastic. I think everyone should have a pair of these... hats off to the designers!

Got one pair for myself and one for my daughter and we both love them. So comfy and great for orthotics. My other daughter loves them too so now I am on the hunt for another pair. Hope we can find some more the right size.

I have 2 and looking to buy one more. Great to long walks, travel, some hiking, beach, to be very sincerely. It don't come out of my feet during day. Live Costa Rica. Easy so clean just wash with water and soap no bad smell. I love it. Durable.

I researched a lot for several orthotic sandals and am glad I chose the bite brand of shoes. They give great arch support and these spirit os thongs look great also. I actually tried more sandals while shopping and wearing my spirit thongs and none of the other brands compared. Great slipper!!

These thongs are the best. I can wear them all day with out foot or knee pain. I recommend these shoes to anyone that wants a good looking comfortable thong sandal.

Great to get to wear something other than my Reebok Princess tennis shoes with my orthodics. I wear these sandals using the Croc inserts that come with them, and have found them to be really comfortable. I usually wear a size 8.5-9, and got the size 8. They are working out fine, but when I did put my orthodic in, my toes rubbed on the edge of the sandal where the croc insert ends. I might get the size 9 the next time I buy a pair. Finally, something else to wear!!!

I love this thong as it can be worn with a lift or an orthodic, and provides great support. I have 6 pair in different colors and wear them from early spring to late fall. I had given up wearing thongs until I found these.

These are great looking, very comfortable thong sandals, and I've actually been wearing them to play golf. I like it very much that you are able to adjust the tightness of the thong strap. The sizing is off, though - I wear a 7, but ordered a 6 and they were a perfect fit.

Right out of the box they were very comfortable and supportive. With my custom orthotics I can walk all day and my feet, ankle, knees, etc. feel great. Highly recommend these thongs. I just wish they were more available; I'd like a black/charcoal pair but not to be had.

Incredibly comfortable! I am a size 8.5 - 9, but ordered a size 8 and that was perfect. Straps are adjustable. So comfortable I want to order other colors.

I've been wearing heel lifts for years and I've always wanted to wear a simple pair of flip flops! I was SOOO excited when I found these! They fit great and look cute! Also, buying from Altrec was SOOO fast and easy!! Would for sure get again!

With suggestion from my Orthopedic I have not purchased two pair of this amazing shoes. Just came back from a cruise in the Caribbean and wore them everyday all day. All I can say is fantastic, my feet never hurt, ached or became swollen. I am 50 yrs old and 70 lbs overweight(working on losing it)I have never had a pair of nice looking flips that felt so good and comfortable. Buy a pair or three they really are fantastic.

Love the way these sandels look and support the foot but will return for a full size smaller. Bought 7 which is normal hiking/tennis shoe size for me but these are way to large.

This sandal is very soft & comfy for kicking around. Excellent shock absorbtion. Orthodics are held snugly in the footbed. Straps are adjustable, yet always a bit floppy. Not great for longer walks, go for the Bite Granola for an all-day walking sandal if you need orthodics. I frequently get compliments for how the Spirit sandals look!

I can honestly say the OS Thong is one of the most comfortable sandals
I have ever worn. Would highly recommend this one. I have a low back problem and spend many hours a day on my feet doing facials, these have helped me so very much!!!

I like the feel, looks, and comfort. I love the concept of being able to insert the insole. The only negative is the insole has a tendency to slide a bit. I haven't tried any remedies. Maybe the insole needs more gripper on back??

I just bought two more of these sandals because I loved the first one so much. It has good arch support which I need for plantar fasciitis but the inserts or footbeds now have a rough surface. I liked the smooth surface better and I'm sorry that they made that change but I still think they're great sandals

What a relief to find sandals I can wear with my orthotic. I thought I was going to have to wear tennis shoes to the beach (again). These are a great design. My only problem is that my orthotics (which I already had) don't fit snugly into the shoes, so I had to use velcro to hold them into place. But that's a small price to pay. I'm going to get several more pairs.
