great glove
As advertised a well built and very warm glove. I ski in all conditions and this glove is the best I have ever owned, I asked for the warmest ski glove and this delivers.

Black Diamond Guide Gloves
Temperatures in northern New Hampshire over the Martin Luther King Day weekend were in the low single digits, and these gloves definitely made the experience more comfortable on the ski slopes. At first, I was afraid they might be too warm, but they're ideal for sub-zero temperatures and well-made, without some of the straps, zippers and other bells & whistles on ski gloves that you really don't need. They aren't cheap but I've had less expensive gloves fall apart at the seams. By all accounts, the Guide gloves looks like they'll last.

Excellent Warmth and Fit
Purchased these gloves for an alpine Summer climb however they are also excellent in providing warmth for skiing and shoveling the driveway. The pull-out wool liner is attached to the shell via velcro and provides a secure barrier so snow will not get trapped between the liner and the outer shell. They can be a little stiff initially however the outer shell breaks in quickly. Glove has a very nice long wrist protector that can be tightened so snow does not travel into the glove.
Spoke to Black Diamond about changing out the wool liner with something lighter if the need arises and they said that any lightweight fleece liner will work perfectly inside the outer shell. A local retailer employee told me the same thing. So get these gloves for super warmth all-around winter wear and pick up a pair of lightweight fleece liners for those days when it is not super cold. Got rid of my Head ski gloves and now only use these - these are the cadillac of winter gloves with a removable liner! A little pricey but well worth the money in the long run.
