Bought pack for SAR work. Will work real well. Love the suspension system. Would be an excellent pack if there were some outside pockets. There is cavernous room on the inside though. I haven't used the hydration system yet, but with a bladder it will be as good as a Camelback.

Im 5'5 and purchased the medium over a year ago. Its perfect for weekend trips and I love the ergoACTIVE suspension. The waistbelt can be lowered/ moved higher to customize fit which helps if you run a short torso. Even when loaded to the max it moves with you fantastic (with proper packing and paying attention to weight distribution you wont be losing your balance over rough terrain). I loved that the shoulder straps were positioned far enough apart that I didnt feel like the back of my neck was getting pinched. I like a fairly simple pack, no extra zippers to break, but just enough pockets to keep the things you want close at hand accessible.
