Perfect for Pow!
Love Black Diamond and love this glove. It is nice and warm, super comfortable too. I never got too hot with spring skiing in Colorado. The added padding is nice for going through trees or taking spills. They're styling and the cuff is perfect to strap down under your jacket. As long as your jacket straps down good you won't get any powder up your sleeve.... BUY IT!

black diamond legend glove
i have raynauds and usually need to wear a mitten to keep my fingers warm. this is the first glove i have found that allows me (with the aid of a liner) to last all day. the gloves run a little large- initially i ordered a XL- but returend fpr an L. they appear to made v well- as one would expect from black diamond, and are quite dextrous. i would recommend these gloves for anyone with cold fingers!

Great glove
The best glove I have owned to date. It is extremely comfortable, not so bulky so I can have dexterity while I'm wearing them, and they're bomb proof which is nice. I like an under glove because I think over gloves look like gaper world. So, if you like an under glove than this is one to consider. I do have to wear liners with them on really cold days but that has largely taken care of the warmth issue. On normal days these do just fine without liners.

These gloves are incredibly warm and durable. Well constructed. However, a bit more dexterity would be nice. All-in-all, a solid ski glove and a good fit.

Great Glove
These gloves are awesome. I have used them throughout the Rockies for resort and backcountry skiing as well as mountaineering. I find they keep my hands warm to ~0*F. The goat leather palm is durable and has good dexterity considering this is a fully insulated glove. Definitely a Legend!

good glove for intended purpose, cobby construction
Glove has approximately twice the insulation on the back that it has on the palm/ bottom, while bulky this makes it easier to grip trekking poles, tools etc. Also makes the glove a bit of an enigma to use, not warm enough for the mind numbingly cold days since heat will transfer from your hand to whatever you are gripping but somewhat to warm for your average winter day. Having said that this will be the compromise with any glove of this type you buy, just the price you pay for dexterity in a heavyweight glove and well worth the compromise. Would be a 4 star product (can't give 5 due to its limited application) if it was not for the poor craftsmanship. I own several Black Diamond products including a few pairs of gloves/ mittens and have never seen anything like this. The edges of the leather panels look like they were cut by drunk men with bread knives, stitching isn't much better. Further more the leather is wrinkled and has a Home Depot work glove look to it. I can not speculate on what this does for durability as I have not owned the gloves long enough. If they are anything like the other Black Diamond products I have owned you will only replace them when a better product comes out, not because you wore them out... then again as I said above the don't seem to meet the standards I have come to expect from Black Diamond.
