Excellent Wire Gate Biner
January 21, 2010
Does exactly what it needs to. Has worked perfectly for me, and has great weight to the spring action, preventing accidental opening on contact, but without creating too much opening weight. Excellent.
Very nice

I like color coding these biners with the corresponding colored c4's so that I can grab the right size based in a hurry. I think it's way better than having all silver biners or something..

Great carabiner which I use for hammocking. Ultralight, strong, and dependable.
Pros: Build qualityWhen weight adds up...

As an old school trad man whose been steppin' up into the vertical for 33 years now, I was slow to adopt a wiregate habit. How many pounds of "iron" did we carry on El Cap, in the Black, out in the desert or high on the Diamond? It was sick weight. Luckily, that has all changed with the wiregate revolution and BD is the right choice. Reflecting heritage, safety and now nimble grams, the Nuetrino makes a huge difference when the weight adds up. Pair this with a Mammut dyneema sling and your weight worries vanish. Whether I am racking for sport clips with my colleagues or top roping with the kids, this nano weight Ano drops into the rucksack everytime. Now, let's be clear, this is a warm weather, free climbing, snap link. For deep winter ice climbs in the alpine I use a bigger crab that allows a gloved hand to securely clip in. Aid climbing requires a solid gate on etriers, fifi hooks and daisy chains when applying on/off body weight and cross loaded snafus at the belays .
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of useNeutrino Biner

Great all-around biner. I like color coding them to the C4 camalots, makes it easier to grab the right cam. They are light weight, strong, and look really good too. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great 'biners

These are excellent, lightweight carabiners. Good clipping action (gate has the right stiffness) and easy to use. Highly recommended. I second the comment about using with Camalots - a great use for these.

Great colors for keeping things in order. You can use them for all cams or use them to make your own draws. Light and easy to clip. I have a million of these things.
Pros: light, easy to clip, great colorsTough as Nails

Over the years I have owned many carabiners, but none have been as versatile as this one. I have used this one doing everything from keeping my keys on my pants, to hanging my hammock while backpacking. I love how light it is, and how powerful the gate spring is, so you don't have to worry about loosing things off of it. I wouldn't use it on any serious routes climbing, and I would stick to screwgates, but that is just me. Overall I would definately recogmend someone to get this one!
Pros: cheap, light, versital, strongGood biner especially if you own C4's

I have Black Diamond C4 cams and use color matched Neutrinos with them. I find this makes it much easier and quicker to select the correct size cam when they are racked together. At 36 grams there are other lighter wire gates out there. However the ones I've used have had smaller gate openings and have as a result been more fiddly to clip. Overall I think the Neutrino is a good choice if your looking for a light weight carabiner.
