Excellent Trekking Poles
October 07, 2011
These poles are first rate. Locking mechanism is easy to use and never slips. Grips are comfortable and durable. Shock absorbing feature helps on long hikes take the pressure off your joints. And on top of all that, they collapse to a small enough size to fit inside your suitcase! Can't beat these poles.

Ive used this product both during winter backcountry hikes (with the powder basket from Black Diamond) and during summer hikes (with the rubber tips from Black Diamond). The mentioned accessories fit this model perfectly. These are great trekking poles and are very easy to adjust even with gloves on. The shock system helps a lot in reducing wrist stress both during icy winter accents and also when hiking on dirt and rock. If poles are used on snow or in wet conditions and then stored in the collapsed position the moisture left inside the tube can cause rusting. In order to prevent rusting, I always store them with the 3 sections of the pole apart to let the moisture in the tubes evaporate.
